Multicopters, drones, quadcopters. These little aircraft are all a new breed of radio control (RC) fun that are rapidly gaining in popularity. But with newness, there is limited information available on these systems. This is particularly true for newcomers who wish to participate, but do not understand how to get started. But first be forewarned, this is a very addicting hobby. Once you start... eh, you'll find out.
I had a sad day today. My first flight with the zero and it just flew straight and kept flying over buildings and disappeared, I fly planes online a lot and had it on beginner/intermediate but i didn't realize it turned using rudder. I was thinking in terms of a real plane. I spent 30 mins looking for it in other peoples backyards but couldn't find it. I bought another one as it looks like a lot of fun. This next time, I'll go somewhere where it's just empty land.
I own the black model, and for beginners i have a few notes; To fly the drone forward, the right stick must be turned forward if the drone goes sideways, land it and try agian and turn it in the direction its going sideways in then you can kinda turn and stuff.

It's functions are actually quite similar to those of the X8 se which is pretty old now. I guess it already was a great package. However it's much lighter and has less bugs.
@@Quadcopter101 i guessed so, i responded to the question because i really do like such tie-dyed patterns, and do such dying experiments with all kinds of textiles from time to time since my youth ^^, so i was just honest when responding. I like your shirt (-;
I fly a couple of DJI’s Mini drones and have been bothered by birds mistaking it as a threat. Wonder if the Fimi’s bright orange fuselage is any help deterring bird attacks. Cheers from BC🇨🇦

News flash from a Brains Trust member on the RCGroups forum thread on this .... Test version of a compatible Multi Module protocol under way - and it probably WILL have a MANUAL MODE available as well. Waiting with bated breath. 😉😊
I just got mine the other day. took it out to a baseball field this morning and discovered that when the drone was about 30yards away, the video got bad, 50 yards and it became difficult to see my way back. But I think all I have to do is increase the Video Signal from 25mw to 100mw or more (its easy to do). I also made another change (I wear glasses) in that I Duct taped a VR headset facepad onto it (From KIWI) now I can fit reading glasses on and see the screen better.
Congratulations. You were first to say First (and who had not already previously won). You win a shoutout in a future QC101 video. Again, congratulations!
Yep, this plane is available in several versions. Ready to Fly (RTF) with included transmitter (which I demonstrate in this video), Bind and Fly (BNF) with a built in FRSky receiver (you do have to provide your own FRSky capable transmitter), and Plug and Play (PNP) no receiver, you install your own and provide a transmitter to go with it. Of RTF, BNF, and PNP, do you know which version that you got? It should be listed on the website that you purchased it from.
