Pros
- Ready to fly, no assembly is required. All needed equipment is provided and installed, except three AAA batteries for the transmitter.
- Two channel aircraft that uses differential thrust to control direction of flight.
- Weighs only 42 grams. No Registration, Trust certificate, or remote ID is required.
- Constructed of crash resistant EPP foam.
- Can takeoff from the ground or water. Can also be used as a powered toy boat in ponds if the water is too rough to take off from. But if the plane flips upside down in the water, you can still power it back to your position as the props work underwater also.
- Very easy to fly by beginner pilots. Although not advertised, this does have gyro stabilization. If you get into trouble, just let go of the right control stick, and the plane will automatically level itself.
- 3.7V 300 mah battery provides about 8 minutes flight time.
Cons
- Water launches require very smooth water. The aircraft skips like a stone before takeoff. If the water is rough, it may flip.
- Only one battery is provided (no spares). However, the battery is very common and inexpensive. You can purchase additional batteries if desired from third party vendors.
