Hey Guys! Welcome to StaticYonder. I'm a 22 Year old Filmmaker, Metalhead and Singer, and I make videos along those same lines. If you think this content might interest you, you'll get plenty here!
I'm pretty sure joey looked at the same porn with Karl while on the road... It just happen to be on Karl's computer and not his. And really I didn't think anyone in manowar was smart enough to use a computer
Back injuries are no joke i did my back in at work and it persisted for about 6 months- a year and still pops up every now and again , its good you can still move and go for walks, that meens it may be aomewhat manageable. The nhs were a joke with me too, infact my drs were close to useless, i actually found with me working out actually helped, strengthening my back muscles seemed to stabalise the problem abit however i only used light weights and had to really only do certain movements, also i wouldnt advise that if you dont know the issue because in some circumstances that wouldnt help at all. But enough of my rant, hope you get better soon
I just might! The latest one I did was 3 years ago (had a bit of an MC resurgence) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dEcObZaJ85w.htmlsi=kcZV5E-g88USmtYl
You re not a Motörhead, you re just a Dummhead - 100 % - Jesus Christ !! You have not understood anything! OMG, how stupid a single person be! You are not even a dessert! Brillant, because there is more money going around - prolific, ashole!
As a devoted Manowar fan of over 20 years, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing it with us. One of my fondest memories is seeing Manowar at the Earthshaker Fest in 2005. Eric completely blew me away, especially in Battle Hymn with all the (at the time) past and present members together. Hail Manowar!
I must contradict you mate; Eric has never had a range greater than 4 octaves. 4 octaves is still supreme, and I warn anyone against deifying even the greatest singers, such as Eric, by lying about his attributes. He's the best because of how he sings, now how many notes he can squeak out As for Axl, I think his is around 5 octaves, truly superhuman, but again, Eric's voice is just better in my opinion. Warmer and tonally more consistent (not to mention still kicking at 71 where Axl sounds like Mickey mouse at 62) *Range is not everything*
@@StaticYonder I never stated range was everything. You can just look it up :) In his prime Eric could sing 4 octaves. It's just a fact :) ( G1 to the soprano C6 ). And i said Axl could sing more than.. Just try to read correctly. I sing myself and more than 3 octaves is not superhuman. It's loads of practice. You don't sing yourself, do you ? :) For a manowar fan you clearly don't know alot :P
Depends on what sub genres you like and have checked out, however I always show Blackbriar to non metalheads curious about my taste in music so give Blackbriar a try. Blind Guardian is a classic especially if you listen to power metal like I do, always respect the bards of metal. Other power metal bands to check out are Powerwolf, Sabaton, Unleash the Archers and Beast in Black. For some progressive metal I would recomend Voyager for a beginner, Kamelot, Seventh Wonder, The Gathering and Threshold. I say beginner friendly because prog can get weird really quickly and throwing someone in the deep end immediately is a dick move. So honestly I recomend Voyager the most because of their more 80s synth sound but beware earlier albums are power metal, they became super proggy afterwards and are now throwing keytar in every song. Oh and if you want to have a band to get used to growls (if you're like me and don't like a lot of growling yet) I would recomend Amaranthe for some heavy metal combined with pop synths and melodies.
@@StaticYonder really? final verdict? that's shameful for him, even if it was only downloading weird (to put it mildly) stuff related to child abusing on the internet and not having had actual sex with children, something far worse. If those five years will be because of the internet "stuff" to be honest i think it is already a harsh sentence. Thank you for your reply.
I was horrified when i found out about this, especially being a parent to a 4 year old myself!!. I still love manowar and think they are awsome. Plus they did the right thing by booting him out!!. I judge people on their own actions. Not the actions of their family/friends/coworkers. I hate to think how they must feel, having known him for 20+ years and that coming to light. His music career is in ruins and rightly so
Apology videos are probalby your most reguIar content and I love it 😂. But jokes aside. I love your new single Dead Ringers. I actually added it to my playlist. It reminds me a bit of Dream Evil. I would love to see or better said hear a full album at one point. Best of luck for your singer journey.
In my younger geeky DnD playing days in the 80's, my friend gave me an album called Fighting the World by a group called Manowar. I was a power metal head at the time, (Iron Maiden, Priest, Dio) and was blown away by the album, and especially the ability of the singer. I thought he rivalled any of the top metal singers of that day. Needless to say Manowar became my goto listen when we needed to take on the hordes of goblins or undead in our DnD campaign :)
I hate not being able to listen to Manowar anymore. Can't bring myself to do it because of this monster and the bands weird halfassed reaction to this issue. Is there like a list of songs that this dude wasn't a part of?
Everything before 1996. I strongly recommend you separate the man from the band. Their reaction wasn't half assed, they literally kicked his perverted hind to the kerb the day it all came out
@@StaticYonder I looked for anything that indicated they did that, all I found was some vague "He will not be playing with us the rest of the tour" stuff when it came out. Is there more?
@@thrusherthrush2515 How about the fact they've had two guitarists since, one of which is the Legend Michael Angelo Batio? (Who said himself, is an official member of Manowar) Actions speak louder than words, they don't have to verbally decry him any more than they have, they kicked him out and left him in his shitpit since it all went down Edit: Silence doesn't make them an accomplice, chances are, they just moved on.
@@StaticYonder "They don't have to decry him any more than they have". I'd love to see an example of any decrying at all, that's all I mean. The kicking him out is a no brainer. I just feel like there's a chance they're only doing it because they have to.. But thanks for the tip about 1996!
Halford had bad health habits around that time, by that point he had likely just woken up. 1988 Halford is a much better era to pick from. His high scream isn't falsetto, in live aid those highs are mixed voice, the lack of cord compression is what creates the power you hear. Eric is a baritone, many can argue Halford is as well. Eric's control of fry is consistent and safe, it's why he's been able to maintain his touring schedule for decades. The first scream Rob does is a bit off key, the second isn't, he's shaking the cobwebs off, and wasn't as conditioned as he was at his best, which is again, arguably 1988. The most obective comparison between the two here is Eric is on pitch. But we aren't using a good indicator of Rob's ability using that performance. There's footage of 1988 Priest, he's in much better shape vocally.
Proving the human voice is a instrument. A professional's professional. Not enough words to describe this humble mans elite talent & discipline. My personal favorite front man (and band) since 1987.
I have heard so many people saying that Tommy should do lead vocals in Sabaton because he is a better singer than Joakim. I don't agree at all. I love Tommy in Majestica and the covers he does on his YT channel, but Joakims tone really fits the subject matter of Sabaton's songs, he's perfext for Sabaton. Also the normal range of Joakim makes the songs very easy for most people to sing a long with.
