Welcome everybody my name is Marcin I'm from Poland currently living in the States, I love cars and everything about them. I do car reviews, testing and occasional racing. Welcome to my channel and enjoy the content
Do you know if the recall applies to the '24s? I've had mine 3 weeks and haven't gotten a letter yet. Also, I think I'm just up the road from you if you're in the Jackson area.
I’m not sure brother, I know they can’t sell cars with open recall so like new new ones should be good, but some of 24’s might still be affected, best way is to check your vin online and see if anything pops out. I’m in Schaumburg Illinois brother not sure where Jackson is haha
I’m in Australia and my car is not subject to a recall?? Checked my Vin on Hyundai site and said no recall.. Australia has i30 sedan N which is same as Elantra N
If it doesn’t say then you gucci, but it’s kinda strange to be honest, cause I don’t think they putting different fuel pumps in those cars, but who knows maybe the ecu programing is different
Imagine going to the dealership for a knock sensor and they replace your ECU per techline...but you've got or HAD a Stage 1 tuned ECU🤷♂️🙄🤷♂️🙄....then finding out that new ECU didn't fix the issue (duh😡)
@@PolishBullitt Bro the octane learning is so bad right now I can't. I filled up and i had to drive until a quarter of my gas was gone then it finally octane learned.
@Duran762 I feel you brother, cause I go through this every time, but at least I’m OL whenever I need it too so it doesn’t bother me that much but I understand people who only drive short distances and it never works for them 🫤
@@PolishBullitt yeah I don’t drive too far but i still love the car its fast enough i guess. I don’t drive fast anyway unless im in the valley. No options to mod since California is a cool state
If your car works fine I would rather wait, I know a year is a long time and tuners will most likely have everything figured out, but if there’s no need then I would wait
@@klasseact6663 if they determine that your pump is good then it’s only a ecu reflash, I wish they would give people new upgraded pumps so we don’t have to worry about it anymore
@klasseact6663 if you feel like there’s something wrong then I would definitely do it besides you have your tune on spare ecu just in case so you good haha
This is pretty obvious. That’s why I totally disregarded this recall. Also I have the Sonata Pumo so also no reason to do the recall. You have to be very careful about recalls pertaining to anything ecu related.
@@PolishBullittthis is true my friend. I’m dealing with Hyundai now because the piano black trim along the top of the rear door window is peeling and showing chrome behind it and they don’t want to cover it under warranty
@tonycutillo2512 it’s always some shenanigans brother, but they should cover it cause it’s not your fault that it’s peeling. I love my Elantra N but sometimes we have to deal with those stupid things and some hyundai dealers are definitely not on our side 🫤
Yes I've had this message from sxthnk they've told me the same thing that's why I tried to tell people don't get your hpfp from the dealership cause they do that they have to reset the whole car back like it was brand new out of the lot and you pretty much loose everything and getting the upgraded one will save you from future probably with the oem hpfp
I just bought an Elantra N and was wondering if you have any recommendations for winter tires, cheaper options, for this car. I have a 2024 and live in the Chicago area. Any recommendations? Also, would I need to do anything to the car if the tires and rims were different sizes from stock?
First of all welcome to N family and here’s a link to our group in Chicagoland discord.gg/FMRcJHrv I personally got Nexen winguard sport 2 tires 225/40r19 on my stock wheels and they were pretty cheap when I got them other then that you got bunch of other choices but more expensive like DWS06+, blizzak’s, sottozero’s or michelin x-ice if you join our group we have a guy who works for Belle Tire and might get you a good deal and btw I don’t know if you subscribed to my channel or not but I posted about big meet we gonna have this upcoming Saturday at Hyundai of Palatine
A couple years ago, a korean guy bought it new and didn't even drive it. He was gonna buy g body m but then he decided to go with Elantra N and spend 50k on tuning lol. And the result? 15k on stereo. 440hp with a big turbo. I forgot the size but it was one step bigger than what most N drivers go for. So it has a low boost and a high boost control box. High boost kicks in at 4400rpm so you figure the size lol. 440 doesn't sound much for the money he spent but he spent 30k under the hood and the rest is more for carbon fiber garnishes and etc. From the review, the turbo with a waste gate keeps pressure at 1.8 bar consistent. Making cars faster is easy. But keeping it stable is a whole another level.
Oh wow 50k in mods that’s crazy haha, 440whp is no joke in those cars, but like you said it’s not only about power you have to keep ot somewhat reliable too, but honestly this car is so fun even without power mods, but you have to take it to the track and cut through those corners haha
Actually that’s a good idea I will include that in the description 💪🙂 Mods: Stillen TruControl piggyback, Stillen Catback Exhaust, Afe intake with turbo inlet PowerFlex Bushings: lower mount purple, upper mount black, trans mount black
Hey with Vlad.... he's hitting a soft reset on the JB4 because the safety fault is kicking in and going back to Map 0. Have him check in the user adjustment and check what the "last safety" was he is on a too aggressive map. I had that problem on my old F150 Ecoboost and my current Kona N since the boot failsafe was 22 PSI and I set it to 24 and never had any issues. Also octane learned the JB4 shouldn't be used....it's too aggressive.
🇵🇱🚄!! Great video man. 12.867😤 Nice job brother! Salute to Mike and Vlad 🫡 You sent that Ford pony back to the stables. 😆 Track time receipts for toilet paper 🤣 Great video bro.💯
@EdWoodson.45 haha I appreciate that brother so just letting you know there might be something special coming up in October if it come to track so stay tuned 😉
@PolishBullitt creme rises to the top, turds go to the bottom. Luckily my comments are seen HERE, other channels...🙄...ban my comments because I'm a realistic fan of the car🤷♂️ Luckily you don't do REV videos, weaving in and out of traffic "racing" videos and other nonsense❗️
@klasseact6663 dude, shut your trap. I blocked you from my page.. I don't say anything to you. I suggest you do the same. All you do is talk all over youtube. With the slowest elantra n out there. With the current set up on my EN I will blow the blow the doors off this car. I was trapping 109 with 2 mods. I don't show everything that's done to my car. But you see that cars I'm beating. dummy.. pls I'm asking you. Mind your own business. Leave me in peace. This is not your channel out of respect for polish..I.keep my peace.
I learned my N last night and it reset when I drove it this morning🙄 If I have to learn it every time I drive it rather than once every tank, forget it
It should stay once it’s learned, but sometimes when your gas is around 3/4 to full it might happen that it can reset itself, I know stupid I don’t know what they were thinking 🤦♂️
The races online of these cars always seem impressive until you see their quarter mile trap speed or their 60-130 dragy. Then you realize they are slow and the cars they are racing are not great examples. Fastest one in the world went like 7.89 60 to 130 (big turbo, WI etc), My 390 whp car went 7.88 lol...but these videos exist of them beating or staying close to "500whp" cars lol Where do you y'all find these trash can competitors lol?
@@lVlemphiz nice little ride you got there brother, so you pushing 400+ whp in your neon srt and I know those things are pretty fast, I used to want one back in the day, but yeah your car weights 2900lbs compering to my Elantra 3300lbs that’s a big difference besides I’m not claiming any records or being the fastest N out there just having some fun, btw respect for playing Destiny 🫡 😉
@@PolishBullitt it made 397 with 93 octane on a dyno dynamics for the 7.88 time. I see guys online claiming they are keeping up or beating 500+ whp cars (while they are on a stock turbo) and I have to wonder where they made that 500whp. My car on e85 made 508whp on the same dyno and I haven't dragy'd it on E85 but if it went 7.88 on 93@ 397whp and the top 5 big turbo Elantra N on the Leaderboard are slower....it just calls into question these competitors. I'm dying to find one locally to race
@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 I heard they might have a remedy in September, but not sure if it’s happening cause whenever you ask a dealer they don’t know nothing about it, plus if it’s going to be just a software update for example then I’m good I rather change the fuel pump and be done with my fuel cuts instead of waiting for something that might not help at all, besides changing hpfp is quick and easy so if I want to do it I can always swap them again and go to the dealer
The reason behind the smaller pump on the N is because of a slight weight difference. The smaller diameter, and mass would have allowed the pump piston to move up, and down quicker. Imagine having lighter valve springs inside the engine. IT allows for a quicker revving engine. The problem is that the fuel volume is not enough, and the slight decrease in metal mass allows the piston to heat up faster, and wear out faster. Their logic failed since the volume was not good enough for a stock application let alone a tuned one. VW's, and way back then Mazdaspeed 3/6's had the same issue.
I just installed the "Street" (yellow) one in my Honda Fit manual. Almost no increase in NVH, but way better for rowing through gears. I wish I knew about it years ago! So cheap, so easy to install, yet a big improvement.
Btw, did you do the install before OR after meeting us @ Hyundai of Palatine🤔 Speaking of that they replaced my horns for the turd time🤷♂️ Also I happened to mention your guys upcoming meet and the service department had NO idea about it🤭
You made the install look easy Marcin👍👍 Can't wait to hear about the drag strip results today🏁🏁 Finally maybe check with Mizeal about an update for the piggyback, like with all upgrades you do when running a piggyback 💡
Good upgrade brotha! I did the same thing and power delivery is smoother and fuel delivery feels more even. Now we don't have to worry about the recall w the weak stock hpfp.
I bought one a week ago put 300 miles on her already, just waiting to see what she’s got, have to wait another 800 to 1000 miles until I can go past 4K RPM :(
Honestly it’s way better then you think brother, you might have a small problem launching the car, but once you get a little bit of speed it’s gucci and it’s a track beast in my opinion 😉
