Hello! Thanks for your comment. If you activate your subtitel you can read everything and everything is also written in the Video placed top left. In the description you'll find the ingredients. I think this is enough for this short Videos
@@VeganRecipes.official Yes, I, and anyone else that wants to make this recipe, could do that and stop / start the video to copy down the directions. Each and every one of us would need to do that. Or, you could do it once. Perhaps simultaneously when you're writing the subtitles. You know, sort of do a copy and paste job? Or are your videos purely for entertainment value, and not a serious attempt to provide viewers with information in a usable format?
Have you ever tried to do it without tahini? Tahini is having a strong taste and there is no written rule that you have to add it. 😊 Sometimes I just don't add it and of course it taste different
I wanted to prepare some hummus lately but didn't have any tahini left. So I used almond purée- it was delicious and I prefer this new recipe to my classical hummus. 😋😋😋
i'm thinking about adding pulp from a cold press juicer to this recipe. before or after blending should yield interesting results. carrot, apple, kale. In the future: celery, beets, ginger... Have you tried sticking this lentil tofu into a dehydrator to make jerky with it? I look forward to trying!
Nice idea. We don't use a cold press juicer. And while I'm writing this I'm complaining that we drink less healthy juice. Mostly water or herbal tea 😅 do you like to comment after you tried? That would be nice.
@@VeganRecipes.official The only thing I don't like about the juicer is that it requires a lot of fruit and veg to produce a fairly small amount of juice, but I understand why that is, and I'm rewarded with inordinate amounts of pulp. Adding the carrot pulp to the lentil mix before blending changes the color and flavor a little bit and keeps it very smooth, while adding it after blending just captures the pulp flakes and suspends them in the lentil goodness, allowing for a more concentrated carrot flavor and an interesting aesthetic.
This doesn’t look as firm as the chic pea or black bean hummus I normally make. Does it firm up as it sits? If not, I might try using less water and see how that works.
Hello. If you want it thicker, than use less water and add more If needed. We like it like that, so we can use it also for salad or dip 😊 and it will not firm up that much. 💚
Sehr lecker 😋 Wir haben bei BananenbrotTV damals als erstes das Dürrümfleisch ausprobiert und jetzt dieses Rezept.😋 Danke für die einfache und tolle Anleitung. Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Hello. First of all a golfball is round about 4 to 5 centimeters in diameter. And to everybody who is suffering from war our thoughts and hearts are with you. There should be no war on this beautiful planet. 🌍☮️ Stay strong everybody 💚
@christian-ir3lr Yes, you can use any bean, you may need to adjust the amount of tahini, garlic, salt and olive you use (up/or down) based on the type of bean you switch out. Some folks will also use half chickpeas and and half endamame for a protein boost. Some also will add olives, beet puree, roasted peppers, marinated artichokes, etc. to the base recipe for fun/color/flavor. It's a very flexible recipe and only takes 5 minutes to make. I've been making hummus for decades - especially if I just need a quick snack to fill up. Enjoy.
Thank you. I don't know which country you come from. We are from germany and here you get a lot of vegan cream in the supermarket. Our own is from the brand "Oatly". I hope I could help a bit.
@@VeganRecipes.official I live in Canada and I'm able to buy almost everything vegan even I see many coffee cream but they are coming in the powder form , haven't seen in the carton , maybe its beacuse I drink my coffee black LOL :) anyway I think when I make this I'm going to put some vegan sour cream ,, Thank you so much wish you the best :)
Thank you. Yeah! That's why we are so into lentils. Chickpeas are everywhere, but we also don't like them to much. We'll try to share more lentil recipes. 💚
