I LOVE ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Katy Perry look. That skirt is just wow. Top less found of due to had been nicer if just slightly longer so it had a band as well under bust not alot just 2 cm or so. But the skirt❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my gosh! What a treat to hear from a REAL, scatter-brained, energetic thrifter/crafter. I love that the "younger" generation are learning to sew and craft, but I just can't listen to their monotone voices that drone on about their creative process with absolutely no creative flair whatsoever. Thank you for the wonderful ride, sarcasm, humour, and all!
@@AlexandriaLayne it's SOOO good. You need to make it next time the neighbour is giving away their zucchini. If I don't have time to bake I grate it up and freeze in cake portion size. 🤗
It is called a Capote, and it’s a very old style coat. They were popular with French trappers and traders, or coureurs de bois, who made them from Hudson Bay Company wool blankets, and later from other sources of wool blankets. They became very popular with Native Americans who frequently traded with the French. Nowadays, they are typically worn by reenactors. I made one for my husband, who is Native American.
dude I NEEDED to clean, I didn't even feel like going into my sewing space because it was so cluttered and THAT was my sign to dig in and clean it up lol
dude I had hopped to have some really fun merch out by now, but the baby really threw a wrench in all my plans lol, imagine really cozy loungewear with my little catch phrase?!?!
I love that I have a space to craft in! now I just have to figure out a way to spend a little more time up there craving and less time stressing about EVERYTHING ELSE 😂
Me defrosting leftovers so not need to find where all my food is becouse I used today to move around my shelfs for food and equipment I have in kitchen so now not find anything. 😂😂😂😂 allways get worse before it get better. Atleast shelfs are moved and floor is free again and fit at table temporary. Now need to decide what on what shelf after how much me use it and stuff for tomorrow or wendesday. Next prodject is fabric shelfs and that type of stuff. Not to vad there becouse to few rooms so sewing is in bedroom mostly
progress over perfection is how I want to live my LIFE!!! lol ive had to let go of a lot of my perfectionism lately, and it turns out that its very freeing 🤣
I like to spend a little bit of time each day cleaning, but sometimes I feel like I have to tackle everything all at once and it is defiantly overwhelming 😅
@AlexandriaLayne ..EXACTLY ! With shelves you have the LUXURY of everything in ONE place...I utilize every square inch of my space...I color-code my boxes to what's inside...use plastic bags only..so I can CLEARLY see what I'm looking for!!! I LoVE your space!!!
my sewing space is almost always cleaned to 75% because the OCD part of me really wants a specific spot for everything, but the cheap side of me refuses to pay for the things to organize better LOL
Frankly I like the coral top with the green jeans. And thank you for giving this 6’1” girl permission to wear a top that I wish was longer. I’ll be looking for your sewing videos. Do you ever show how to resize patterns?
dude I finally got to spend some time in my sewing room today actually SEWING and its gotten super dusty up there...... I really really need to do a DEEP CLEAN 😅
Your doom corners are so real~ I've been trying to organize my own craft area and struggling so thanks for the boost of motivation! I find it actually pretty helpful to see how other sewists organize their workspace, especially as you try to optimize your own systems. I personally have come to settle on Only CLEAR Bins otherwise I just forget things or miscalculate what I have in my own stash. It's also the "oh thank god, it's not just me" after/in the middle of a cosplay build ;0;
its funny you bring up clear bins, because im the exact same way!! ive been slowly moving to all clear bins for a few years now, if I can't see it, it doesn't exist! and a clear bin is the perfect solution to that!
