I'M PREGNANT! Like, seriously though.
Just me, sharing my exciting news with you all in the only way I know how! A full on cosplay reveal! Ive been working on this costume for a few months, and once I sourced all the materials I took about 2 weeks to put everything together. I wore the outfit to my local big comic convention and surprised all my convention friends with my GIANT NEWS and then promptly drove back home to take a nap. This is my life now.

Hey just so you know whenever anyone says "You think you're tired now, just wait till the baby gets here" they LIE! Having a baby is so much better than being pregnant. I was doing complicated sewing projects with ease when my baby was three months old. My upstairs neighbor has a two month old baby and as I type this she is on her hands and knees painting her porch with a smile on her face. You'll have so much more mental energy. (Except for the first 2-4 weeks when you're in emergency baby arrival mode and the baby is in emergency learning to exist mode)

lol a few friends have told me very similar thing to this!! im defiantly looking forward to NOT being pregnant anymore, like the baby can chill in there a little while longer but I am totally not one of those people who *loved* being pregnant! im looking forward to having the baby and getting into a new routine. and im glad you mentioned you were sewing again by three months!! I just really enjoy sewing and I get kind of *blue* when I'm not doing creative things for too long! so I have a few easy projects I can do while im recovering and getting my energy back, lol I've been wanting to make some felt food toys for a while now so I have a Buch of those ready to get sewn together when I feel like I can!

Congratulations. Your costume was fabulous. You are fabulous. Give yourself a break. Your body is going through tremendous changes. I'd like to say it's all worth it in the end. But as the mother to two adult daughters in there 30's I'm still waiting to find out. 😂

lol I felt like I was running on zero battery the whole time I was working on this costume! I could only sew/film for like 3 hours a day instead of my usual 10-12! the baby really does just take al your energy!

lol I bought fabric for the veranda gown too!! but I don't think I have it in me to make another padme cosplay from the ground up! I have like 10% energy these days, so im glad this padme is done and over with now!!!

I’m 30 and when people find out I have two kids they are like 😳 WHAT! How old are you! And I’m like uhh 30🤷🏻‍♀️ 😂 I had mine young yes but I had graduated high school and had been with their father for 5years lol we were in a stable financial situation and we planned it…we are high school sweethearts so it’s a bit of a different situation than people are use to but I still think it’s kinda funny how shocked people seem 😂 but oh well I love my little family been with my husband for 15 years now and he’s still my best friend ❤

I made it a few months before I did the costume! I take commissions for padme hair piece’s if you ever want one! My commissions just closed for the year and I won’t open them back up until after I have the baby, but I do all sorts of padme hair and I ship internationally!

@@AlexandriaLayne Thank you. I'm almost 5 weeks. So no one besides my husband, parents, best friend and brother know. And its so hard not telling everyone. Even random customers at work. I had been trying for 4 years so I'm very very excited. The nausea is so bad! Like I'm not throwing up, I just feel like I'm going to all day. And my back hurts so much.

@@CrownedLily the nausea is the worst!! I never threw up, but was CONSTANTLY on the verge of puking! im 30 weeks! and didn't tell anyone until recently 😅 I think I was just in SHOCK because I expected it to take years for us to get pregnant and it happened IMMEDIATELY, I feels so unprepared and anxious, but im feeling so much better about everything now!

@@AlexandriaLayne I've thrown up once and it was the day my period was due. I just thought it was PMS. After 4 years of negative tests we had thrown in the towel. So when I was 9 days late I thought alright well let me rule out pregnancy. Took the test and it was instantly positive and I was shocked.
