Stunning song! Finally finished series 2. I started when it came out, but there were too many things I couldnt deal with. Some of the hammy dialogue. Villain vince vaughn. An awesome sad indie gal playing at an empty gangster dive bar. The pretentious indie guy showing off his epic taste soundtrack (even though its literally what i like...). Being more mellowed out (old) i pretty much enjoyed the series now. My critiques all still stand Im just less bothered now i guess! Rankings: 1 3 2 ... 4
To the best TV show, long life to Velcoro, Bezzerides, Semyon and Woodrugh. They stole my heart forever. No one but Pizzolato could create this wonder.
Also, rewatching the series. It’s like The Wire, it’ll stand up for a long time. Simply awesome cinematography in season two with all the overhead, outside shots.
"They say that the glass is either half full or half empty, Ray. What they don't tell you is that the glass is full of piss and no one will drink it or touch it. It's just gonna sit there, Ray. A fucking waste of a perfectly good glass. Caspere knew that much." - Frank
Greatest season of the 4 series made Collin Farrell Vince Vaughn were chiseled from marble to play these dark and troubled characters. Season 2 had it all sex appeal, darkness and a genuine roughness that shaped the series perfectly.
I absolutely love Season 2... Damn man nearly 10 years, 4 main characters, it was amazing and music was spectacular, camera shots were so fun. And Ray Velcoroooooooo
what an incredible job they did at s2. truly underappricated. its sad to see people compare it to s1 and not accepting its a separet and different story on its own way.
I'm watching it right now. At first i though exactly that, but later, chapters 3-4 changed my mind. Sometimes movies and series starts low and going increchendo. Most people dont give a chance. Hopefuly i did it. Great seasson. 😎🗿
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
The music for the trailers of this show got me so hyped to see it. I forgot that trailers never live up to the hype. But I got Lera Lynn out of it so I’m glad.
