Erin should have trained better. At the end of the first round she was clearly exhausted and seemed worn out. That means she should have trained by running up and down hills. That is the way greats like Julio Cesar Chavez trained and that man won a ton of fights with deep endurance. Also, Erin did not know how to fight correctly. She would step back and forward. She should have step side to side the entire time. That is how Sugar Ray Leonard fought. The first three rounds Layla should not have been able to touch Erin. That way Layla would have gotten tired and Erin's endurance would have kicked in on later rounds if she had trained right. But instead her trainers and even the TV commentator thought she had to just go forward and attack. You don't do that against an undefeated boxer with twenty wins.
Layla fought three more times after this fight and retired 24 and 0 (undefeated) with 21 of those wins as knockouts. Layla is the more successful professional female boxer in history.
