I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to make Cowboy Bebop ships. I have to wonder how much longer until someone tries to recreate the Bebop itself
I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to put together this build guide, great work. I'm actually watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time while playing Starfield. Great series! I made some minor adjustments to the habs and placement. I wanted to add a captain's quarters as I think all captains should have their own private space so I went with the Taiyo Cargo Hall 3x2 Top B and the Taiyo Captains Quarters 2x1 Top A (without side doors) with the Taiyo Companionway 1x1 Top B to connect the cargo hold and the captain's quarters. I swapped the workshop and science lab around so there wasn't a "noisy" workshop below the captain's quarters.
I think I may be a little too smooth brained to process this comment, can you identify the exact parts you replaced? (Sorry if that's a lot of effort, just want a more livable interior.)
@@cosmicbrownnie1380Replaced the HopeTech 3x3 Cargo Hall with the smaller Taiyo 3x2 Top B Cargo Hall. That gives enough space to include Taiyo Captains Quarters Top A to the right of the Cargo Hall and I put a Taiyo Companionway in front of the Captains Quarters. I swapped around the workshop and science labs. As a bonus, I used the Deimos Skeg A underneath and Deimos Spine E on top of the wings to create the “fins”.
I like it. Looks good. Even the interior isn't terrible, except for the inside 3x3 hab.. mine was just a huge space filled with junk lol. Are there better habs? It might be cool if habs evolved a bit the longer you use a ship the spaces get nicer?
so I tried making this and I cant tell if an update ruined this or I am an idiot but I keep getting an error that the landing bay cant reach the cockpit but I am 99% sure I replicated what you made 1 to 1 could you help? thanks.
Just made this ship and want to give some helpful advice for anyone following in my foot steps. Biggest thing I learned in this process is that you can't buy all the parts and hang on to them; parts can only be bought and placed on a ship that can fly without flagging the flight check. To work around this, I sacrificed my Star Eagle and played Tetris by removing parts I didn't need and placing parts I would. Placement of the landing gear on the bottom front felt too close to the bay, turns out OP didn't mention he bought a shielded cargo to offset it, which is wicked smart. All in all, through trial and error, took about 3 hours to make and ~90k credits with the commerce perk level 1 and a better B class reactor. I also haven't bought weapons systems and saved the shield and drive from the OG build. Am I still gonna rock it without weapons until I can afford em? Yeah. Whatever happens, happens.
@@chatsubo_dude Dude, thank YOU for making and posting such a great build of one of the most iconic ships in anime. It's now my favorite ship in my collection :)
@@chatsubo_dude omg, seriously? I was losin my marbles tryin to see if there was a way to make this happen sooner and then just now I was like "hol up lemme see if he replied to me." Thank god lol. Btw, should I go to a certain shipyard to have access to all of the parts, or? Or more simply, do you recall where you built it? If it was in the vid I've just forgotten.
@@Taima you won’t be able to get them all in one place. Most parts can be found on Mars and Titan. But the lander that sits under the reactor can be found in Neon.
@@chatsubo_dude - That's helpful, thanks. I could install the one mod that makes all unlocked parts available to you at any port/yard, but I think I might do it the old-fashioned way. Also I didn't get to finish checking all the parts out because I was already up late enough as it was last night, but I was looking to see if there were other parts that I wouldn't be able to get on my character and yup, goddammit. the cockpit is at lvl 16 and the reactor is at lvl 20. It's making me wanna give on this side character of mine who I think just hit a measly 10 or 11 and play on my main who is lvl 20ish, but I wanted to have them do/play a certain way, so idk. Maybe I'll see if I can get reasonably decent looking substitutes to hold me over. Might make it worth installing the shipyard mod so I don't have to go everywhere to find out. Sorry for the long ass comment lol. You can certainly skip the last paragraph if not more.
@@Taima haha all good, maybe check out my A-class Swordfish build on my channel, you can build it at level 10 for sure. You could start with that and work your way to the c-class build. Thanks for checking the level requirements for the other parts though. That’s helpful!
29 reactor power with 38 equip power is far from great but youre welcome to your own opinion im not hating on the guy actually subscribed after his first ship build as really love how hes doing it tbh @@the_aclo if he wants my c class version of this ship can send it to him and he can do a video on it literally only ship i use in the game now
i cant post a picture as it wont let me i based it off the first build you done of the ship but changed alot of stuff for class c literally subbed of the first ship as i was struggling to build any before your videos deffo not hating appreciate the time youre taking to do these videos@@chatsubo_dude
@@FlacidGladiator thank you, and no worries I don’t think you’re throwing shade. It sounds like you’re saying the build isn’t as interesting, which is fair for sure. I simplified it a bit. Less is more, ya know? But it’s not everyone’s cuppa.
