Faerie Tails and Fables was born in March 2018, from my love of creating magical and woodland creatures with needle felting. My passion for writing stories and poetry to go with my creations completed the Faerie Tails and Fables name! I also love to work with wood (as did my father before me) and have been known to dabble in other forms of crafting too! I hope to take you on my journey of the craft, whatever path that may be on that day!!
Fantastic video, huge thank you. I’ve been trying to make one from a kit. Absolute waste of money, kit had pipe cleaners which didn’t make the mouse realistic.
I don’t use wire in case I give the item I make to a young person I use yarn and fabric I used yarn on a dragon I’m working on it’s not done yet but it’s getting there.
Thanks for the heart now I made two jellyfish 🪼 one small one big they didn’t take me long on the big one I just need to sew it together but my needle keeps wondering off but I’ll find it eventually
I don't know how many times I have become so frustrated trying to wrap tiny digits with wool that I got fed up and tossed the entire thing in the trash bin. I am anxious to try your method. I have to buy some yarn first. I don't know why it took so long to come up on RU-vid. I searched 'needle felting mouse' many times in the last year and yours did not come up until today. Your easy to follow video should be on the top of the list. Thank you. New subscriber today!
Thank you I have been wanting to do a dragon for a long time but didn't know where to start for the armature. Looking forward to seeing how you build the body up.
I love this ! And the fact that you are a witch makes it even better! Blessed be )o( I am learning how to do needle felting and yours is the best video I’ve seen. Thank you ! You are very talented !
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was intimidated by how realistic your robin came out at the end result but your instructions were so easy to follow! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world! I'm subscribed now!
what a gorgeous little faerie, i love watching you create and it’s also really lovely to hear the Seagulls, i imagine you sitting in a beach hut looking out to sea working on your next creation. Thank you for sharing 😊
I love this tutorial, the badger is so sweet. There's something about your video.....the music maybe? I felt as if I'd gone back in time to a small child. Seeing the tree lined lane at the beginning of your video reminded me of the lane I used to walk up and down each day on my way to school, happy times - almost magical. Thank you so much for sharing. 💕
Hi! Nice video, I make miniatures just like these but I'm having trouble with the glue I use for the hinge. I want the hinge to be extremely firm. Could you tell me which glue are you using and if it's resistant enough?
I use gorilla crystal clear glue. It is really firm but you need to make the hinge fit the nut really well so sometimes you might need to bend the corners of the hinge a bit to male them fit flush to the nut. A little sanding on the nut where the hinge goes helps too!
