My current meter has an orange circle with "Certified 09 98". Does that mean it was certified then, or it runs out of date then? (If the latter it's *well* past its Use By date!)
It sounds like a mix of incompetent management, letting it drag on for too long, aligned with the employees lack of required capability for the senior admin role. Feels like a step down to a junior role role to give a chance to consolidate and succeed after initial coaching and support failed for the senior role would have been a sensible outcome for both sides.
For your information, they pull the same stroke with all those that refuse smart meters. They turn existing meter off and say no longer make those meters. Hence force a smart meter on people. Your an arrogant interviewer for how you treated that Lady.
Stewards are sad jobsworths who can't get a job anywhere else,I did it for 3 month's, that was enough, most of the stewards couldn't communicate and were aggressive to new stewards, a few losers told me they'd done the job for over 15 years
Is it stalking when they sit in vehicles outside your house with listening devices? Or they're above your apartment jamming your calls? Ex. Blocking me from calling 911?
For american Law; (a) A person is guilty of harassment in the second degree when with intent to harass, terrorize or alarm another person, and for no legitimate purpose, such person: (1) Communicates with a person by telegraph or mail, electronically transmitting a facsimile through connection with a telephone network, electronic mail or text message or any other electronically sent message, whether by digital media account, messaging program or application, or otherwise by computer, computer service or computer network, as defined in section 53a-250, or any other form of communication, in a manner likely to cause terror, intimidation or alarm; (2) makes a telephone call or engages in any other form of communication, whether or not a conversation ensues, in a manner likely to cause terror, intimidation or alarm; or (3) communicates or shares a photograph, video or words or engages in any other form of communication to a digital, electronic, online or other meeting space, in a manner likely to cause terror, intimidation or alarm. (b) For the purposes of this section, such offense may be deemed to have been committed either at the place where the communication originated or at the place where it was received. (c) The court may order any person convicted under this section to be examined by one or more psychiatrists. (d) Harassment in the second degree is a class C misdemeanor. Apply in writing? This is an absolute mess of a system. There should be a single centralised system that refunds you automatically for delays and cancellations. Waiting 14 days for a refund? Money can be transmitted at the speed of light. Why should I effectively give these bastards a free 14 day loan?

Utilising zero hours contracts is utter filth from these Premier League clubs. We know for a fact Premier League teams will play at least 19 home fixtures every season. A permanent contract should cover those 19 fixtures, and additional cup ties should be offered out as overtime. I suspect that is what will happen when Labour finally ban this dodgy practice. This chap has been on the books for over seven years; thus hs is quite clearly a permanent employee.
Sounds like a nuisance employee. It’s a security job at football, isn’t that what happens. Hopefully they are trying to identify the culprit and go to police but annoying chairman about it is crazy.
Having a disability should not have been seen as embarrassing. He would have likely not have gotten in this situation had he accepted that he NEEDED to be treated differently to help him cope a lot earlier. And thus HR wouldn't have been able to do this to him in the first place, or at least as easily. Yes, he coped for ages due to somehow the work not changing much, but imagine how much more effective he could have been in that time with extra support.
Your old meter was disabled, in order for your supplier to fit a nice new smart meter. Exactly the same thing happened to my neighbour, he got up one day only to find the meter had no display at all, I wonder WHO has the ability to do this to an electric meter?
You do not let these people in your house. Just say no thank you if they come calling and close the door. This presenter clearly wanty a job at the BBC .
Why should I be FORCED to fund an organisation that allows Paedophiles free range of their buildings and even gives people like Saville free rooms to carry out his vile deeds? When staff at the BBC complained to the top people about him and a few others, they were told to shut up as Saville brought in Millions to the BBC. If they told the police nothing was done except the whistle blower was sacked. I don't want to be part of this. I also informed the L.A. that I charge £50 per hour for every day they failed to turn up when they said they would. They owe me £6,7550 Jack Kinsman
The government aren't going to abolish the TV Licence in 2027, they're going to integrate it into the monthly Council Tax bill so it will become MANDATORY for everyone, if they want it or not! There's the BBC enabling paedophiles, once again!
I have watched a few of these, and they follow a theme: ask a few hostile questions, then declare "tough!". Had the barrister been pimped by a solicitor, with the prospect of payment, then I suspect the antagonism would be reduced. Anybody involved in the legal system knows that, however good one's defence, legal cases are a gamble, so to risk £275 to get £550 back would have been unwise.
Think of it like this people. If I were to post, say, a useful widget in a jiffy bag through your letterbox that you didn't ask for, then 2 days later I knock on your door and ask if you opened the package and used it, then when you told me you weren't interested in it and threw it in the bin I called you a liar and demanded payment for it I'd be breaking the law. This, in effect is what the BBC is doing. They send an unsolicited signal across the top of your home that, in 2024 SHOULD BE ENCRYPTED. No excuses. They leave it free to access and then demand payment for it.
Is this guy a barrister or what !? Breach of your Peace due to reasonable foreseeable harm. Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 for menacing message. Blackmail/Cohersion under theft act 1968 section 21 The Police could arrest him on the spot for these.
There are two circumstances where you supplier is allowed to change your existing meter for a smart one, if it develeops a fault as in this case, or if it is at the end of it's working life. The only other option that some suppliers offer is for a replacement meter of a similar type to be fitted, but they can charge you for this option But you can ask as said below for a smart meter to be switched to a non-smart mode.
