So my car has memory seats and mirror dipping and dimming rear view mirror so i just have to install the new switch with the button and folding mirrors and code it?
Jose, thank you so much for this video! Some radio units don't have empty space to plugin the connector but you can always tear apart the connector that you have and just insert wires into your existing one, as I had to do on mine. But your video helped me a lot!
Very nice job! I think that PSU is way overkill for your motorcycle. I was expecting you to put it on a car. I would rather use 13.6 V than 14. It's easier on the battery. (Charging requires 14.4 V, but once the battery is charged, the voltage should be reduced to 13.6 V.)
Yes... a lot more. Because you have 'semi-electric' seats so you dont have LIN bus in your doors. It is doable (I have done it many times) but it is not plug&play. You have to run both LIN bus wires from FRM to each mirror/controller and run a KL30 line too.
Hello great video, your 3D case is awesome. I have a question? What is the exterior size of the square nut that you put in each bracket that holds on the front cover.
I have recycle nuts for 2020 aluminium profiles. This is because have a special shape that hold in place when you tighten them. You can use any other method that can hold the bracket like washers. Regards.
Hola me gustaria hacerte una pregunta, tengo una r1250gs me gustaria poner las pantallas sport y activar otros modos de conducción, dime como podemos hablar , saludos
Hi, the metal box measures are: 196x86x38mm If you also want them adding the handle, the fan and he large connector pin, the measures are: 237x40x86mm Regards.
hello and thanks for your amazing tutorial! wish you a happy year with good luck! could you please measure HSTNS PL11 lenght, wide and height? thank you
greetings Jose. thank you for the video you shared with us. I have lci e91 with business cd HU. I would like to be able to read from a usb stick. the question is, if someone has already read USB on professional CD HU, then there is no need for additional coding or? because there is no one in my area who knows how to code the radio.
@@posusak21 If you buy a HeadUnit from a donor car with already working Bluetooth and USB, it would be plug&play. Codding is always recommendable but would work without codding. But it wont work as good as it suppose to. You have to have in mind that every car body has its own equalization... Regards.
greetings, thank you for your reply. I already managed to find a used HU with a bluetooth and usb connector, I also managed to get the original cables that go from the HU to the backrest where the aux and usb port are. what bothered me was that the new aux had 4 wires and the old 3, I don't know why it was used, but I managed to add that 4 wire to the existing radio connector. just as I added 2 wires for the microphone, which were also not on the original connector, I have not yet threaded them to the place where the microphone is, above the interior rearview mirror. do you know if the wire for the microphone has already been routed and where to find it in which part
Hola Jose, Looks amazing!!! I have a 2015 r1200gs, k50 i guess, from USA market...can you please tell me exactly what parts i need for the TFT retrofit? Muchas gracias!
Nice video. I am using the 750watts model (DPS 750RB-A bought for $20) to power my e-telescope (Astrophotography rig). I haven't modified it as I don't need to, but this powersupplies are indeed great and superior quality. This power supply provides 12 volts to another DIY little box with current and voltage monitor module, fuses, and various 12v and 5v USB outputs. All the outputs are protected by independent fuses rating from 1-5amps.
hey there need some help retrofitting seatheating i run into this issue, i need to connect the run the pwm wire from the jbe to both seats, bmw e90 318i n46b20b now i connected 38 but 34 already has a wire inside.. this is where i am supposed to put the other wire.. as i look at the pinout from the jbe it says following `pulse width modulated signal for drivers seat heating´ but my car came with most cheapest seats which im sure they didnt have seat heating.. anyone knows what to do ? thx guys
What problem do you have? You have to install the 'shunt' in between the negative pole of the PSU. Then, your display shold have 5 wires: - Thin wires: Black: PSU Ground (psu wide negative pole) Red: Power for meter (cuold be the same than yellow, but I connected it to pin 37: 12VSB, that is 12V in standby) Yellow: Positive pole of the volt you want to measure (the wide positive pin) - Thick wires: Red: Shunt input (psu wide negative pole) Black: Shunt output (load negative pole) Regards.
1.- Very good vid, well filmed and straight to the point! 2.- I'm wondering if a guy who designed this "thing" to lift a 1600-1700 kg vehicle ever finished the secondary school...
@@JoseJJnthank you but I remember in the BMW forum you said if the manufacture date is after 3/2007, then you don’t need to replace the footwell module? I wanted to confirm that information. Is my car after 3/2007 if it’s 3/2007?
