Turn to Jesus people, he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, if you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live by his teachings. God bless
It's people like you that keep installers down, that's why crappy outlets are still paying people 3.50 a yard to do this, thanks for dragging the industry down and being a hack
"AS YOU CAN SEE" This is NOT a professional install!! This is a ghetto install. Carpet is NOT stretched properly. This will start show wrinkles within 6 months. People, PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THIS. YOU WILL PAY FOR IT LATER!
Sorry but there were so many mistakes with this install,... 1st, this seems to be a hole house job, so the hallway should have been installed a stretched in 1st, then the door seam made, set the wall 1-2 feet across the door (towards the closet in this room) then go to the wall across from the door and kick straight to the wall set 2 feet of this wall, you can then set the wall from the door to the this area( back wall). then go to the wall in front of the closet and kick in the same 2 feet, (usually from the wall plug to the door jamb) to the closet door, you can then set the wall along the closet/entry. your basically working in a L pattern. once those 2 walls are set work from the closet door area to the back wall, then from the area across from the door working to the same corner that was just kicked from the closet, (another L) working and ending at the same corner. then kick in the closet in the same manner kicking straight in from the door, (look at it as a separate room). HIS MISTAKES, relief cutting in the doors , if this was stretched property you would pull past these cuts, also the cuts add resistance to the stretch. setting the carpet in the middle of the room, he set the middle then kicked to the closet door that has already been set (without a stretch) this is where a bubble will develop, and he could have even made a bubble that would have been pushed into the closet door jamb and caused issues with the previous relief cuts. Face cutting the carpet, carpet was cut too short and I'm sure he scored the baseboard. this job after a year will suffer from wrinkles, I'm sure the hall will go 1st. the short cut carpet is going to lift off the tackstrip as it was just stuffed into the crotch, it should have a slight fold to it. My experience, I 've been in flooring for over 20 years, I did residential installs for 6 years followed by 8 years of customer service work to contract flooring company, I've seen thousands of installs and hundreds of installers and had to fix there incompetence. Most common issues were improper installation of tackstrip followed by poor cutting technique, carpet constantly coming off of the tackstrip, bad stretch, wrinkles within a year. I don't know who Edgar is, but I saw so many issues I had to comment.
that rug in three months will be guaranteed to have wrinkles I've been making rugs for 35 years and this is the first time I've seen a rug installation tutorial with Kicker
Not properly installed. You'll be paying me $200 in about a year to power stretch out the bubbles😅. He tucks a whole wall before stretching which makes no sense. How's it supposed to stretch if it's on the tackstrip? U only install a corner 2 ft on each side then stretch then u tuck the wall. Also no need to rub down the tackstrip nails. There up for a reason.
