Hunter/fisherman harassers should receive a consequence that is more harsh. A ticket isnt worth the time and effort for them ruining a hunt or a day of fishing. It is ridiculous and childish of them when we are minding our own business enjoying the outdoors. They should know what surrounds them when buying a property in a rural area or with lakefront property. Most of us(and i stress MOST of us) outdoorsmen n women do everything possible to follow the legalities of the area. Harassment is very much uncalled for and for the matter can get a lot worse given the situation and hot headedness of the individuals when it doesn't need to!! Have fun and be safe out there!!

You guys handled the situation very well. It's tough to bite your tongue sometimes, but getting the jerk on video and audio, catches him in his lies without provoking him.
That way you can get the local law enforcement on record for ignoring felony crimes. Holding them accountable is step one. Especially for cooperation between agencies.
Yeah in my opinion you can't own the water you can own the land around the water but you cannot own the water and in my opinion the land under the water is part of the river so you cannot own it was that you I would look up the Federal statutes
Unfortunately the home owners win every time they don't get fined for hunter harassment and police interfere with your hunt so you can prove to them you haven't done anything wrong meanwhile your hunt is now over.
I've has enough malfunctions while hunting with semi-autos that I just rock a pump action. Cheaper gun so i don't feel as worried about abusing it or accidentally losing it off a boat, simple to tear down and clean in the field if it gets full of mud, and it will cycle any load 100% of the time. That being said, I'm thinking of trying a light 20 ga semi-auto for dove/teal
I live in central Oregon about 25 miles from a small town. We have a small community about 7 miles from a public road and are surrounded by BLM and State land. I hade a 1000 yard range behind my house on the public land and idiots move in from larger cities and always complain about people riding quads on the roads which is legal as it’s private land. And whining about people shooting. One day I was out shooting and my wife called and said the police scanner chirped about a someone saying there were shots fired at their home and a few deputies were sent out. When we walked out to our target which was 1000 yard from our shooting platforms we turned around and there were about 5 or 6 police trucks parked around our place and they were watching us with their binocs. They all waived, turned around and got in their cars left. Not a word to us but I’m sure the lying idiot that called us in got a bunch of grief as they said over the scanner they were going back to speak to the caller and didn’t seem to happy about it. Idiots from California keep moving out to the rural areas and don’t like rural activities or rural people.
How stupid do you have to be? This homeowner doesn’t even own the property next to them. And they have the balls to harass the hunters who have permission from the owner.. seriously mind your own business. Stupid fucking people.
USA is such a joke. So many weapons in hands of good people and still idiots are alive. How? What is the point of keeping a gun if its useless? Only things that happening with gun are mass shooting. I havent heard a news about someone with a gun who actually saved someone from being killed
