LKR 100.00 is nothing to you man if you are an American as you say proudly. It's a shame on you to call yourself an American because you bring disgrace to other Americans. The driver doesn't need to scam you for LKR 100.00 as it could not get him nothing other than a cup of tea. I believe you're a youtuber who do nothing, but just like to eat cheaper and travel less cheaper and make videos on RU-vid and show them over the world online and to get likes and comments to get that small money that you get paid from RU-vid for you to live. You put accents on your talking and pretending to be an American which you aren't. Don't make at places others uncomfortable because of your attitude. We don't need a person like you visiting the country.
You see these You tube guys depends on making videos them getting scam...thats what they want and what they wish inside their mind .otherwise their videos contains nothing but usual viedos
this guy deff tried to upsell you and make some cash but to be fair when he said vegetable market you said yes (around 1.55) and he proceeded to take you to the area in Pettah that sells vegetables so......
Bro lemme explain..... Pettah Market is essentially not one specific place generally all of the places u went is the pettah market. Basically the spots varies from vegetables to clothes and bags throughout the area.. Thats how it is its not like one big shoppig mall... Hope u understand 😊
Doesn’t look like he was scammed if so the driver wouldnt have accepted 100 rupees for that ! Pettah market is that whole area ! There are a lot of scams in Sri Lanka but in this video it never happened and also the driver didn’t push that hard to sell his services !

Bro, you shouldn't have let them near your shoes. Rule number one of travel: if anyone approaches you in a developing country like Vietnam, they only want your money and lots of it. Vietnam is full of scams. I've been 5 times. No wonder only 5% of tourists ever return.
