WVU Extension Family Nutrition Program is comprised of numerous nutrition, food and physical activity projects designed to help limited resource families, youths, and adults improve their health.
Our work is supported by the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and teh Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
Loved the behind the scenes look at all the time, and work involved with shipping out the seeds. It gives me an even greater appreciation for the seeds that I received. 💖
My biggest issue with seed starting is when the cat knocks them off the shelf :/ Off to my grandpa’s house this weekend to use his setup instead. Thank you for the lesson.
You don’t have to! We launched the Grow This Throwdown this year so that counties can compete against each other for grant funding. You’re more than welcome to participate in challenges or you can just grow your crops and enjoy them that way.
@@WVUFNP thank you, I grow food for my family, the community thing is nice as I don’t mind sharing , I just prefer to keep to my family and myself out of the social media aspect.
