It's kinda a small horse. It's just a 9230 so it has the 9.0l engine only 325hp. We do most the grain carting with this tractor. Yes soybeans will be planted soon, I got the rest of the wheat combined today, and it's supposed to maybe storm tonight. If we don't get much I might be able to start planting tomorrow.
@Straight6Addict any thoughts on this turbo I thought that's what it was I've been looking into it for my 12v I still tow so I don't want a lag monster on my truck sounds awsome
It's kinda a pain in the ass to put on a he351, he has a hx35 style, but I use turbos from fenley turbo and he makes a hx35 hybrid turbo it sounds really good
Did your drill fit in all that mess just fine when you drilled the two smaller holes in the crossmember? I thought I was going to have to drop the axle down to make room or something, Because in Thoroughbred diesels videos they used a 90°.
Did the he351 bolt right up? I’ve got a 99 with a s467 and I’m thinking of going with either a cheetah or a he351. I really love the sound of both idk what to choose
No it takes quite a bit of work, you'd be going down in turbo from a s467. You need to buy a hx40 downpipe with a he351 flange or weld a he351 flange onto the downpipe it's an od ball flange and clamp. Drain is the same, feed is a different fitting on top, and you need to modify the wastegate or make a charge pipe with 2 90s
Doesn’t look like it needs a rebuild, it needs a new wheel from shit going through it. I’d change the title so it doesn’t look like you’re blaming the turbo builder
I'm not blaming him, it's my fault. But I want to fix it before it gets worse. I've sent the center section back to him so he can take it apart decide if it needs bearings or only a wheel. Either way I needed him to rebalance it. He didn't have very much confidence in just putting a new wheel on it without balancing it after I talked to him.
I got them for $200 from someone that got them from the guy that made them. He did a real shit job, but it was like the longer I looked the worse it was kinda thing. I had to cut them off and weld them to the box again.

The 12 Valve Cummins engine in a Ford F-350 single with an Allison auto is my dream truck. Nothing huge. Nothing fancy. Simply something that will always fire up and do what I tell it to no matter what the conditions are around it. If I am ever gifted with one of these I will be a very very happy camper 😁
