Does every dodge owner (including me) have a second tailgate they leave in the box ? Lol , exhaust sounds sick . I’m in Alberta Canada , is there a company that manufactures stack kits ?
The truck just was painted at that time, I hadn't tossed the old tailgate into the scap pile yet. The Stacks, someone made them I bought them from someone else that bought them from the guy who made them. I was not impressed with the job after looking at them longer. So ive cut them apart and put them back together now they are a lot straighter. And the inlet was only 4 inch now its 5.
Did you notice a difference at all when you swapped from the hx35 to the he351? I'm wondering if it's worth the swap or not, I know the 351 has a 9cm for fast spool up
Chris Landsbury honestly, I did too many things at once. I did the afc full travel mods to get more fuel. So I don't know if the afc mods or the turbo made a big difference or of it was both
Did the he351 bolt right up? I’ve got a 99 with a s467 and I’m thinking of going with either a cheetah or a he351. I really love the sound of both idk what to choose
No it takes quite a bit of work, you'd be going down in turbo from a s467. You need to buy a hx40 downpipe with a he351 flange or weld a he351 flange onto the downpipe it's an od ball flange and clamp. Drain is the same, feed is a different fitting on top, and you need to modify the wastegate or make a charge pipe with 2 90s
No need to let shit warmup.... if you run full synthetic and it’s 0 degrees out not plugged in start it let it get oil pressure then high idle it for 30 seconds and your good......
Fully studded, with Arp studs, and rod bolts. 188/220 Hamilton cam. Taterbuilt he351 67mm turbo, at the time. I have a hx52 67mm now, with a steed speed. I have Hamilton pushrods. I had ddp 50hp injectors, now have hsi 5x16 injectors. I had industrial injection valve springs, now I have Hamilton with keepers and retainers. And a seth ferrell stage 4 p7100, 640cc at 4000 rpm.
@@jasondelgado9126 really what you do depends on the goals, and it's getting hard to get tunes these days, which makes it a problem. I like my 2016 and its just tuned.
That was me, I actually let the truck run about 10 mins, I had to jump it. So I was putting back the charger and stuff while the truck ran for a while. So there was a cut. And i got myself in the shot lol.
Just a go pro hero 5, 67mm tater built turbo, t3 three piece manifold, 188/220 cam, 50hp over stock ddp injectors, arp head and main studs, 5 speed with a dual disk valair clutch, crazy carl dual ram intake.
Straight6Addict Tater built chargers are very common in the truck pulling hobby but a lot of people have been caught cheating with tater built chargers bad reputation

It's kinda a pain in the ass to put on a he351, he has a hx35 style, but I use turbos from fenley turbo and he makes a hx35 hybrid turbo it sounds really good
@@tntcollision7094 truck actualty ran 10-15 mins before I drove it, if you watch closely you can see the exhaust color change and the sound. And also that is why I walk by the truck shortly after its started.
