So sad that y'all are going thru this nightmare. So un-American like everything else these days. I pray we all can get thru this. Best of luck to you and your family son.
Here from 2024…you talking about 1000 subs, not knowing what’s in the future for your channel, puts a smile on my face. You guys are amazing. Mahalo! See you in the future! 😂
Quick tip if you wanna know if you have a bad alternator while the car is running disconnect the negative battery terminal if the car shuts off you have a bad alternator
Force field and zip actually invented by smae guy- GP wand a competing product thta didn’t violate Hubert patent, he came up with force field. Force field is simply not as good as zip BuT it’s not a bad product at all. But when the price creeps up to zip levels it makes no sense. For larger homes osb with a spray applied product like Tremco starts making some sense price wise- I haven’t found. A peel and stick that isn’t hard to apply, but considered he dry blueskin-it’s least ex-endive and not bad at all.

Kit is more like $1,500 (2024 prices) with all the options and that's before taxes and shipping. Then add to that two days of mess'n around with it makes this a very special kind of tool. Personal l time quite valuable so figure at least a few hundred dollars per hour. When you add it all up this DIY kit is very expensive.
Im starting my build too haha started with bullet antenna and i got eibach pro truck stage 2R in the mail i cant wait to install it lifting front 2" and rear 1" gunna be sweet and ride soo much better even better them fox 😏👌
Hey bud check ur wrap #1 on the rear wing i caught a good camera angle that shows its peeling off a lil ... sweet ride so far man i just picked up a silverado custom rally edition all blacked out no chrome at all 👌
The conduit will go from the main breaker box, not electrical meter. (On the exterior) Easiest and least expensive is conduit on the surface of the drywall in the garage, exit low on the opposite side, then into the dirt to the shop where you will put another breaker box. If you don’t want the conduit visible then you’re cutting into the drywall and foundation and repairing. If you want to go across the driveway then you’ll have a concrete patch that won’t match.
I just bought one of these trucks with the 5.3 a 2018 with 148k miles. The transmission was replaced at 110k at the dealer going by the carfax. The oil pump was replaced at 140k miles going by the carfax. But nothing about the lifter failures.
Idk if it’s just me, but it seems a bit odd for the meter base to be on the front of the house. Where I live they are typically mounted to the side or back of the house.
Just bought my 2020 trail boss yesterday. Went to the beach were my overland bradas 🤙🏾camping. Tried the 4x4 at sand and she handled it like one chanp. Went back were my friends at hang out for couple of hours then tried my remote start it didn't work so i unlock the door press the brake then the start button, it didn't do anything. We thought its the remote battery so we replaced it with a new one and still didn't work. We tried jumping the battery and it didn't work. So we decided to unplug the positive and negative thermals, we waited for 20minutes i tried again to use remote start and it works. So i jump in the truck pressed the brake and the start button and it didn't do anything again. I rev the engine but the rpm doesn't move and the gauges in the cluster has no light and it in an off position. After a few minutes the truck turned off. I tried again to use the start button and it doesn't even have lights and only the radio was work. We had the truck battery check and it is good. Would you have any idea why its not starting or anyone here has any advice?? I had to get my truck towed to my dads house🤦🏽♂️😤
Your electrician should be able to point you in the right direction and help you make a decision on what’s best for your situation. I would say your best options would be either to upgrade your house service to a 400A and feed a 200A from there to your shop, or just build a service on your shop and meter your shop completely separate from your house.
Zip is the solution to a problem that never existed 😂 my dad built custom homes in western Oregon in the 60s thru the mid 80s .. non of this BS zip & ice shields existed.. Those homes are still standing as solid as the day they were built and have outlived most homes built in the 90s … Craftsmanship is the one thing no product can replace…
Is it about standing up … or the quality of living in the house? Zip is the kind of product we use in a “passive house” … which is essentially a much higher quality product that results in more even temperature control within the house for far less energy use … plus other benefits like waterproof etc.
With your steel frame, you shouldn't be using so much lumber. The building manufacturer/installer could have studded the building out with whatever gauge metal studs they had; cost-wise, it probably is a wash. Unless you have bolted the vertical side studs and top plate to the structural metal frame, it will not withstand 70 to 100 mph winds, which you will get in your area. In another subsequent video, those grey building panels didn't seem structural, what about bracing? Local inspectors passed the framing?
I’d definitely look at upgrading your electrical to 200A. If the house is 200a then 100a to the shop. Or if you hit the shop first then the house. I’m assuming you have under ground services to the house. So I’d recommend upgrading that to 200A or minimum 150a. better safe then sorry. As for running it to your shop. I’d recommend looking at ACWU it’s teck cable with aluminum wiring. Copper these days is way over priced. And so is PVC. Save the hassle and just run the teck cable it’s armoured and ready to go. You may need to sleeve it coming out of the ground just for mechanical protection from weed wackers and cars. But one stick of pvc is cheaper than a whole run. Also would recommend looking at Leviton panel you can add smart breakers Incase you’re away and wanna shut something off.
My stupid alignment shop charged me 100 bucks and it is pulling to the left pretty substantially. No warranty because I declined to replace every single part they wanted me to
These catch cans don’t come stock because people don’t do maintenance frequently. Imagine the manufacturer receiving thousands of calls from faulty engines when the problem is an full and overflowing $30 OEM catch can 😅
That’s crazy their kit only uses one coat. Wonder how long it will last. The kit I did from “original color chips” has 3 coats: an epoxy primer, the main base coat, and a urethane top coat. If you can get away with using just one coat by using this kit it definitely would save a lot of time compared to the one I used. For those 3 coats you have to wait about a day between coats.

Electrical. As far as that goes if you are using the garage for work you might be able to write of the electric usage on your taxes. Check into that. If that is the case then do a second service that has it's own meter and run that to the garage. The wire shouldn't be any different but you may need work with you're power company for a second meter and you might need to pay for it or at least the install. If it's a tax write off then it should be worth it over a few years time span.
