forgettin how good defensively that 08 team was with garnett and tony allen. rondo sure he doesn’t score but he was a floor general. it would go 6 games imo with the 24 celtics eventually winning but calling it a cakewalk is crazy

Playing three rounds of playoffs against teams that are missing their best players is hardly a test for any NBA team... The fact that the "games were good games" is more a reason for concern than a mark of them being tested. You mean that the overall number 1 team cannot blow out lesser teams missing their best players??? Dallas just blew out the team with the number 1 defense on their floor with their backs against the wall... They coming and Boston is going to get punched in the mouth and I don't think they will know what to do with it... Since zero challenge in the playoffs to this date. I grew up and live in Dallas and die hard MAVS fan Luka and Ky are awesome and I hope they win the Championship. With that this is going to be a dog fight of a series and Dallas will have its hands full much respect for Boston they have a shit ton of talent. Time will tell GO MAVS

As a Mavs fan, I'm worried... The 3PT shooting of the Celtics is on a different level than the teams Dallas has faced so far. The Clippers had guys like Westbrick who you could sag off of from 3PT, the Thunder had the same issue with Giddey, and the same for the Wolves with Kyle Anderson, but there's nobody like that in the Celtics rotation, they can all shoot above average from 3PT. If you're able to run the Celtics 3PT shooters off the line, all of their players are also capable of putting the ball on the floor and making a play, which puts the defense in a scrambling rotation, and lots of ball movement is the main weakness of the Mavs defense. On the other end, all of the Celtics players are also good defenders. Luka will always get his, but I'm worried about the role players struggling. If the Mavs are able to pull off the upset, this would be an even more impressive title run than the 2011 Mavericks. Boston should win this series in 6 or less, but I can't bet against Luka and his magic, so Mavs in 7.
