Now I know this video is old but did you ever consider the DY-100 not in it's full specs, because it does looks like it's missing it's cargo carriers or other hull. Because the cargo section isn't aerodynamic is too flat, thought it should have more parts to it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vYdwYmL7E78.html
I mean, it's nice and all, but a "mysterious disruption" didn't happen - there was a massive volley of photon torpedoes that exploded and THAT created the rift. This is said, out loud, word for word, in Yesterday's Enterprise. The explosions caused it. It wasn't mysterious. I mean, it is, but it wasn't "random" that "a portal appeared", "in the path". That isn't what happened. There was a MASSIVE volley or torpedoes which hit the Enterprise and it was sent into the future.
The Sternbach Ambassador class needs to be retconned to Diplomat class, the first large capitol vessel built due to the Federation growing, as Probert's design is canon for the Ambassador class.
Very well done! I've always wondered how the Enterprise-C got caught in that temporal vortex. And I really like how you ended the story, very satisfying with the planned explosion of a captured Federation vessel.
