Now the host channel of my sneaky podcast, Garage Monologues with Jay Swanson.
If you managed to find your way to the channel description, welcome. How did you manage this feat of glory? I was a daily vlogger for over three years, then a sporadic and confused vlogger until I could piece myself back together from the daily experience. You can check that out over at ru-vid.com
As for this channel, well. It's a little different. Still me, just with a little more time and love put into the videos. My Patreon remains dedicated to both: patreon.com/jayswanson which is also where you'll want to go if you want to catch up on all the members-only episodes, only available here after a season-long cooldown.
Wow Wonderful Video. All the videos on your channel are fantastic. But your video views are lower. Because your optimization is very poor. Your optimization needs to improve as soon as possible. Thank you 💖
Interesting about the mites in that hard cheese! I recently learned that most commercially grown figs are pollinated by female wasps and the figs may have a decomposed wasp converted into a protein.
You're great at being totally transparent about who you are and what you're going through, which has helped me get through rough spots. I like how you talked about leaning into it. Be present in what you can do in that moment. We've been following and supporting you on Patreon for years now and have really enjoyed your content. It's like, hey, what's Jay been up to? Good stuff!
I just watched this again because I wanted to get more insight into Jess for something I'm developing. I found your discussion on the coaching Master Yota gave you on what you coined "aspirational limitations" very enlightening. I'm a creative and am learning to lean into my strengths and let go of the negative thoughts and reactions, thanks to the Universe bringing me insights like this. Thanks! 👍 😊
Wow. I almost felt like I was eavesdropping into a personal conversation between the both of you. Everyone should be as lucky as you to have a father like that. Good stuff.
I literally spent the first 4 hours of today making a massive notion database of all the reasons I want to quit RU-vid to help me get the courage to do so, even though it's my main source of income. I'm only 8 minutes into this video and I'm feeling it 200%
Thank you for sharing Jay and for your transparency. So many of us can identify with this. Kudos to you for doing the work to get healthy and happy ... I'm on a similar journey and I think the most important thing I'm learning is that there are things I can do to improve my happiness level. Are you aware of the work Arthur Brooks is doing on happiness? He has a number of You Tube interviews on the topic and just released a book co-written with Oprah. He is a 'happiness expert' from a social sciences perspective. You might check him out if you're interested. Thanks again! Your Patron, Jeff Slaughter
Jay, I've been watching your videos for many years. I just watched this video. I'm not leaving and will continue watching your very engaging, heartfelt videos...
20:34 Omg literally same. I was always on the go and then the Pandemic. Then, the horrific 2nd wave happened in India. Then I felt ill and burned out. Going out feels like an expedition unto itself.
How did i discover this just now? I literally love this guy and he has had such an incredible impact on my life without even knowing it. Anyway.. I loved this conversation and I’m just inspired by both of you
Thé online application process is amazing!!! I struggled with paper stuff my first year year… It did online this year and it was delightful!! (« It » being French admin stuff)
I’m excited for you app. My lifelong dream has been to come to Paris since I was a pre-teen, I’m now 53. And I’ve wanted to buy your guide but now I’ll have your app. Sometime in the next few years I’ll be there! I really enjoy your RU-vid!!!
I heard Sting give an interview once saying that he would rather play his music for a small core audience singing what he was interested in and loved rather than worry about filling up seats at huge indoor venues just to play top 40 hits that don't resonate with him.
I love your Paris in my pocket guide! The problem I have in Europe is that I can only get internet connection through WIFI and my gps is useless when I am walking, not sure if that would be a problem for an App…
Emily, my future compatriot, you can eat all rinds (except if it's wax), and if it's too hard, like Comté or Gruyère, you can grill them, it's delicious !
