I've owned at least 20. Wish I kept them all. '58 000-18, '59 D-28, '50 D-18, plus some newer ones- D-41, D-45, 000-42 to name a few. Right now they have the modern deluxe series, I bought the 000-18 and 000-42. Those are as good in every way as any I have had.
That classic vibe costs only 100 less than a fender player. My country is such a rat with prices, literally makes no sense to buy the squier. Its so dumb
Guitars are objects that are traded by people with money and a repair lessens the value as an instrument to trade for money for most buyers. And most buyers are not good players or musicians of any sort.
I own several of each but I play my Tele more because now I do mostly jazz and pop and nothing beats the tele neck pickup for thst style of music. I can get pretty close with the strat. I have a wide choice of instruments so I have many to choose from.

Looking for a new guitar, let me search youtube for video on tone and simple mixing examples. Finds nothing but videos with useless commenting for 9 minutes and 1 minute of basic playing. Ugh.
my friend, your channel is very good! It's one of the best on RU-vid, very clear, straight to the point, without beating around the bush, the topics are very well covered... congratulations! do an analysis of the "Fender American vintage II 1961 Stratocaster" big hug
Indian Laurel at that price point is an absolute deal breaker. It's such a shame, because it is an otherwise killer guitar. (This guitar is $2,429.00 Can.)
Dude's right, I tried one of these recently. Best neck in the store for me and those P90s were amazing, especially the neck pickup. I've never owned a guitar with P90s but the I've tried two recently, both gibsons, they're great. I wish I discovered them decades ago when I started playing, but I went through the 80s which meant super strats. P90s are my new favorites. Thanks for posting this.
Have one of these. Never once regretted the price. Mexican factory puts out incredible signature models. Also have a Troy Van Luween Jazzmaster from Mexico. The BEST Jazzmaster I’ve EVER had. MIM is a gift to those of us that love guitars and don’t want to sacrifice feel, sound and quality.
This video reminded me how much I love my strat. Pulled it out of the cupboard, set it up and haven’t put it down for a week. I love my Les Paul but the fact is you just need to own both! I run 9s on both guitars by the way 😊
I got the older classic vibe telecaster guitars from China.Never had a bad or really bad one at all.I still think that the Chinese models were way better built than the Indonesian models.
Damn, JOHN! I absolutely love the Gold top with those P90’s. Nothing sounds or feels like it! Picked up one from the Gibson Mod shop a few years back. Black plastics, tortoise pick guard and black Kluson tuner tips with black chrome hardware. Sounds amazing and the chunky neck, is my favorite. Granted, I can’t play like you are sound as good, but that does stop me😉 Great review, and FANTASTIC Playing!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bruno Mars said he wanted a guitar that could take it's users to the finish line. One he could personally use at a live show or as a workhorse in the studio. Only thing it's lacking is a bridge humbucker. Love that its routed for a HSH configuration ❤
I identify as a Strat guy !! Got an American HSS Deluxe , Korean Lite Ash , Japanese 1996 ( 50th Anniversary) 62 reissue , Silver Sky SE and an 84 Ibanez Roadstar ( the other Back To The Future Guitar ) Love them all and at the end of the year last year bought a Squier 50s CV Tele which needed a new nut and the neck pickup is a dog , contacted Fender as I’d bought it direct from them . They paid for local store to replace the nut but wouldn’t accept the neck pickup was a dud “ What do you expect for a £300 Squier ? “ Bridge pickup is fine but can’t get with the neck one , it has to go !!
