I go back and forth about Fiesta Red. Sometimes, it’s perfect. Sometimes I’m just not feeling it. Still, a great value Strat for the money, and the Squier stuff keeps getting better. Nice review and demo. Thanks very much.

Love Squire 50's CV. It is crazy how much prices have gone up though. Just a few years ago you could get a mint Fender Mexican made strat for less than what Squier CV sells for now.

I've had one of these for 4 years now and it's been great. I never set up the floating trem, but I think now is the time.

Have had a Chinese one since 2010 !! Wore the frets out FAST !!!! Just bought a neck for $129 its an Indonesian neck I like the tint better on new neck. Frets seam harder too the body is alder too

I own one of these and I love it. Upgraded the pickups to Zhangbuckers, with Obsidian wiring harness, Tusq nut, and upgraded the trem bridge. Plays and sounds beautiful.

I have one of the original China made Classic Vibe 50's in sunburst. These were so good that people wouldn't buy higher priced Fenders. And there were complaints when they moved manufacturing to Indonesia. Probably the first time ever that people complained about an item not being made in China anymore. 😃

I have one of these and love it. I upgraded the tuner to vintage Gotoh staggered high and removed the string tree. I also added a VegaTrem for better tremolo tuning stability and bends in both directions. I kept, for now, the pickups because they are good. I bought this because it was only 6.5 pounds. I got sick of heavy 8 pound guitars.

I had one Sherwood green during the pandemic. Loved it, and kind of regret selling it. I now have a Mexican and an American strat, and I love the both

Good overview. I own one of the first series Fiesta red 50s. (Kept it even though I have 5 Strats.) just one thing: new players may actually want to leave the bridge decked. Hard tail is the way to go when you’re learning. Strats setup that way are probably the best beginner guitar.

I want the color in this video. But in other videos, the color is darker than this. Also, the color is not this light at all online shopping malls. Why is that? I want to buy this color, but what difference does it make? Isn't it Fiesta red??

The 50s cv sounds more strat than the 60s cv slightly wooly sounding compared to the 50s

i have never EVER had an earwig come out of my trussrod cover / hole.....ever....just to let you know.....humidity or not.out of any of my guitars.....🙂

We now know why earwigs go in your ear. It’s just like a Squire Strat truss Rod cavity.

Meh. Another Stratocaster. I mean I love Strats, they’ve been my main performing guitar for decades…. but I just can’t keep track anymore. What are there, 80 ‘different’ ones in the Fender catalog? Then there’s the multitude in the Squier catalog, and dozens if not hundreds of other brands of the same basic guitar. All flooding a market overloaded with guitars, while lacking the venues to play them. And I cannot comprehend how folks convince themselves to pay $3K for one. But if this is the one for you, enjoy
