I really liked the look of the Twin Flame Ascension Deck. It seems a very powerful deck for healing, personal growth and self-awareness. I felt honoured in your honesty and being vulnerable in sharing your personal thoughts. At 40, after finally leaving a toxic relationship with my son's father, I too chose to stay single for many years and use that energy to heal myself and my son, enjoying activities that made me happy, manifest opportunities for myself and work toward reaching short term and long term goals (including buying and paying off my own home). I dipped back into the dating pool every so often, but ultimately preferred the freedom of being single. I'm 63 now and so glad I invested those years in myself. I wish you well in your expansion journey home to you and to love 🙏

At first I didn’t do anything special, like rituals or anything. I just started looking at the cards and their design, and started using it. However, this has changed lately. I cleanse them with sage or palo santo or a crystal, and read the guide books when I can now but in the meantime I have many…. Next I charge them with my intentions and ask my spirit guides to protect my deck and me (and some other things) Look at the cards, select my shadow and light card, then do a deck interview. If it’s too different from RWS I study them.
I have very similar taste in tarot to you. I just got a copy of the crows magic. Can't wait to get. What I do to air a tarot out. I take the tarot out of box and fan them out in a well ventilated area. You could also try to find like an incense cone you like. Put it in box in a mesh bag next to tarot and close it up. I did that by accident with a sage cone and my deck had a light smell of sage.

I think the Perfect Deck is subject to the individual. There's a perfect deck out there for everyone just as everyone has a soul mate ✨️ Like for me, my perfect deck will have Egyptian, Scorpion 🦂, moon 🌑, dark, notes of royal blue 💙 influences... I feel like I'm currently searching for my perfect deck. I lost my sister 3 months ago and this has been an outlet to pull me out of my darkness, sadness, despear.... I think it's helping me connect to my sister ❤️🔥 I miss her so much!
Great video! My advice to you is that you keep the Sea Journey oracle. It’s one of my favorite decks. The way the messages start, ie May you…etc means the author is giving you a blessing which is an incredibly powerful spiritual healing that the deck is offering you. Sometimes I’ll divide the deck by its different backs and choose one card from each pile and it’s a really powerful reading. You may want to give it another chance. One last piece of advice is that I never buy a deck unless I’ve viewed an unboxing on RU-vid so I can see all the cards and make sure I can connect with the artwork and a lot of these Tarot tubers now read parts of the Guidebook as well so you can see how the guidebook is before you buy it. This way you won’t be buying decks that you never connect with from the beginning. The other thing is you can buy many of these decks on Amazon so you have 30 days to play with the deck and then return it if you don’t like it which I do constantly. Hope these suggestions help ❤.
Thanks! Yeah i store it with my decks but be careful cause it can stain and make cards and boxes oily. I leave it in its container and leave the lid open. I LOVE the smell! I also rub it on my skin as a perfume 🥰
lmao when you said "most ugly weird deck" about the quest Tarot I feel it 😂 I recently rediscovered it in my stash (sealed for like 19 years) I bought it around 2005 and thought the artwork was cool but never opened it until a couple months back, I looked at the artwork and it does not age well at all 😂 my aesthetic has completely changed since then and unfortunately can't resonate with the artwork

Words of wisdom from an old woman😆- There is no perfect deck. There is no perfect partner. You decide what your deal breakers are, and that eliminates a lot. You decide what you would want, or prefer, and (much harder) what is GOOD for you, and you stick with that. You spend time trying to become deeply acquainted. You accept there will be things you don't like. You already know they're not "deal-breakers," so you get real honest with yourself and decide you will/won't accept what you don't like, but more important- WHY don't you like it? Is it about you, or them? Spend a lot of time bonding, and you might just discover that those things don't bother you after all, and there is even more to like than you first realized. Works with decks and partners. Good luck. ❤

As promised, some initial results on coloring the Morgan's. Ça marche pas mal !!! I used the Stabilo markers first, as a base and then colored pencils for shadowing. It's not easy and requires some repeated strokes but it's possible. Sorry for posting here. I couldn't find the video where I shared with you my itch for bringing color to Morgan's 😊 I'll try felt pens now and keep you posted 👍🏻

@@divinecycles1847 I used one of the "intro" cards (for lack of a better word). The ones that are not part of the deck itself and often just carry its name or advertisement (mine reads "Transmutation through union of opposites" at the bottom).Try coloring these ones first (front and back) to see the result. Don't forget the paper stock is waxy so it doesn't absorb ink very easily. In any way, I don't think really vivid colors are the way to go with particulat tarot... Go either Stabilo marker or Crayola Pastel . Let me know if/when you give it a go ☺️🌷

I think I read that in the little white book. I threw it out in my waxy version before reading that lolll but thankfully kept it in my vintage one. I'll maybe make a video out of it if I color it in! It's the best TdM book 🥰 Hahaha omg yes I think so!! I have two copies of it and im sooo tempted to color it too 😆 but im not sure what kind of crayon/marker to use because of the cardstock (US games cardstock). Last thing I would want is the color to bleed everywhere and ruin my deck 🤔 I was thinking about using sharpies ??!
@@divinecycles1847 my edition is a bit in the waxy/glossy side (if it makes sense). So I believe colored pencils won't work on it. But Sharpies and pastel Crayolas probably would. If I try with mine, I promise I'll let you know. Dans la vie il faut prendre des risques ! 😂

Well I have a spare one - I picked two up on eBay a few years ago and only need one - if you would like it you can have it. I've checked it against my other, newer print deck, which does look different. (The Star card's green hue in the more recent print is a good example of this difference.)

Thanks for your review. Just to answer to you, I don't think we're always looking for better. We know when we have a great reader & beautiful. But that's it, the art. We keep on looking at more videos for the art. I think that's what it it. What do you think. You know it's watching you that got me to discover that oracle you love. I purchased it from seeing it in your video and finding it awesome. I have quite a few decks. I as you say I have enough! Yet I keep buying. It's " commercial". Thanks for your video . I need a word, a phrase or I go to the book. All the time. I can't just look at the image and get a message. We're all individual & different. That's the good thing about it..I do have to say the word or phrase will be what we have to make out what it means for us. We may all get a different meaning..i like all you had to say. It's a big subject
Which deck are you talking about? And yes, it's quite a big, complex subject and it's nice to hear people's perspectives on it. I found some great decks through ppl here on youtube for sure!! But I kept buying decks and soon got overwhelmed. At one point I had 100 decks and for me personally it's too much. I felt like I was losing my connection to tarot. Before the pandemic i had only a couple decks and they were my go to's so I really bonded with them. It got me thinking ' why am i still buying more decks?! ' i've been thinking a lot about this this past year. I think it's so interesting how we all read tarot differently. It's fascinating! Being different individuals is what makes the world go round 🥰 it's certainly something i appreciate

I typically enjoy watching people present their decks, but I have to say that I felt nauseous during this video. The amount of disrespect towards your spiritual tools was hard to watch and hear about. The times the cards just fell out cause you don't handle them with care, the fact that you cut borders, cutting up old cards and gluing them on other things, picking to buy decks that you don't even resonate with but just because you wanted the title in your collection.. it's truly disappointing. This is the very reason that spiritual tools aren't meant for everyone. It's like having a wand collection and breaking them apart cause you don't like some aspects about it. I had skipped buying certain decks because of a border, there's no way I'd cut up something that is rooted in something mystical .. but unfortunately you see these tools as nothing but just cards. In the future I advise you to look up unboxing videos or search images of decks you're considering buying, so that you see whether or not you connect with the images and if you're able to pick up on what they mean without having to read them. That way you don't have to mutilate them or rehome them. This is the very reason I make unboxing videos, so that readers shop with purpose and are thoughtful of what they get.

Great thoughts and you speak French beautifully! The perfect deck for me is The Travelers Oracle by Nancy Ashmead. It's a privately published deck by a local artist in Oregon. I discovered this deck while road tripping between California and Washington state. This deck is glossy, has ugly borders, and just not overall that finished BUT the images, the key words and the book with all the psychological underpinnings and meanings is so so good. And the fact I found it when I wandered in a book shop and it came in a really cool bag... I love it. It is imperfectly perfect for me! I love rose petal finish haha so sorry for wishing it into continued printing 😂 For Poesis, I retyped the poems on my computer, printed them and put it with the deck. I can't refer to the computer every time. I like physical books too.
