TBC by far the best expansion. Loved all the raids and instances, I did until half of Sunwell at that time with one of the best guilds in Europe from Grim Batol.
The pilot of stingray I got it in my collection one with many more bring it up so we can all watch it like Mannix that was a good series also which I am enjoying watching
My friend IRL, who got me into MMO's with Ultima Online before WoW came out, claims that he was in Risen back when they were competing for world firsts... I don't necessarily think he's lying about it, he was legit one of the best players I ever saw back then (I used to hang out with him specifically to watch him PvP), but I always wondered if he was a bench raider and only "happened to be in Risen" at the time lol. Not sure which name he was using at the time. But I remember he had characters named Thessalon and Zedekiah... Can't remember if he kept those names though. He originally played on the Gurubashi server in a guild called Born in Chaos.
The iconic theme to this show replaced a song by Phil Collins on DVD releases of Stephen Cannell's "Stingray", probably due to music rights issues. And based on the PAL pitched theme and European Spanish language I hear, this is a European Spanish print of a DVD remaster of "Stingray".
Is it wrong of me to think that THIS Archimonde has more a presence, more gravitas than the one in Warlords of Draenor. He seems far more powerful and impressive than the one in the latter expansion. Melee: 9000-10000 on a full T5 tank, never deals crushing blows. Air Burst - Inflicts 3000 Nature damage to nearby enemies and knocks them high in the air.6 sec cooldown, used randomly. All affected players are tossed very high in the air (over 100% fall damage). Fear - Strikes fear into enemies, causing them to flee in terror for up to 8 sec.40 sec cooldown, 1.5 sec cast time. Never used while players are still airborne from Air Burst. Grip of the Legion - Grip an enemy tightly in the fist of the legion, inflicting 375000 Shadow damage over 5 min.2500 damage per 2 sec for 5 minutes, curse, dispellable, 60 yard range. Doomfire: A trail of fire moving on the ground away from Archimonde. Players entering it get a non-dispellable debuff which deals initially 2400 fire damage every 3 seconds, which is reduced by 150 per tick. As long as the player remains in the trail of fire, the debuff is renewed, and ticks for the full 2400 fire damage every second. Can be removed with [Cloak of Shadows]. Soul Charge - Unleashed the battle spirit of the fallen soul, dealing 4500 damage to all nearby enemies, increasing their damage taken by 50%. Soul Charge - Unleashes the soul of the fallen, dealing 4500 Fire damage to all enemies, silencing them for 4 sec. Soul Charge - Wields the power of the consumed soul to afflict all enemies nearby, draining 2250 mana and inflicting 4500 Nature damage over 8 sec. When any raid member dies, Archimonde gains a Soul Charge which he can use once at a random time (with an animation looking like the Shaman [Lightning Shield] ability). Depending on which character class created the Soul Charge, the following effects apply to the entire raid on its use: Priest, Mage, Warlock: ~4500 fire damage plus 4 sec silence. Warrior, Rogue, Paladin: ~4500 physical damage plus 4 sec damage taken increased by 50% debuff. Druids, Shamans, Hunters: ~4500 nature damage over 8 seconds plus 2250 mana burn. Finger of Death - Strikes an enemy with the finger of death, inflicting (0/20000) shadow damage upon them, their children, and their children's children.Single target, only used if no targets are in melee range. Hand of Death - Instantly kills all enemies.100k shadow damage to everyone in the raid, used 9 minutes after Archimonde is engaged or if he reaches Nordrassil. ... ... Yeah, he is definitely a nightmare. One single player dies on the raid group and: IT'S GAME OVER, MAN! GAME OVER!! And people still think this fight its easy compared to WoD Archimonde? Yeah, fel no.
During the fight you get knocked into the air which meant death from fall damage. Theres an item you use that works like slow fall, thats what they were training, using the item at the right time.
This IS NOT how the pilot truly starts. The music originally in the pilot has been replaced. This is the hero theme, the main theme, it should not be introducing the villain. IT SUCKS! I don't remember what 80's song was playing for the theme, but this was a dumb replacement when the DVD came out.
@@freagle123 That's also the Stingray-theme (as aired in a rerun where the music apparently already was replaced), but the video was re-edited, as stated by the original uploader. Some people in the comments of the video you linked, however, are talking about In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins.
@@JayDeeIsMyName Yes, but that's not the standard Stingray theme from the episodes. I am quite sure that this is the first version. I recorded the pilot on video when it first aired and watched it several times, I was a big fan of the series. I've always looked for the song that can be heard briefly at the end of the video, but unfortunately never found it. Phil Collins wasn't in the intro of the pilot, I'm very sure of that. There was music by him in Miami Vice and Magnum, but not here.
oh man wie geil das doch war.. und ich habe gehört classic wow kommt bald zurück - geht da etwa etwas ?;) Schöne Grüße von einem anonymen Hexerkollegen an alle die sich hierher verirrt haben :)
They could have done so much more with the Caverns of time so much Warcraft history ohwell. This raid was way too Fun when it was released. I remember this being one of the more difficult fights for decent guild good times.
Ehhh? So you’re telling me they did Illidan before they did Archimonde? Because you can clearly see Kungen(the huge Tauren riding the Black Qiraji Battletank) wearing [Bulwark of Azzinoth] that drops from Illidan... I don’t think this is the world first vid, or did they really beat Illidan before Archimonde?
Kungen best tank to ever play WoW! But yeah fully world buffed+DMF 10% Damage buff, combine that with 8-set T2 priests and ur gucci. Who got The Hungering Cold?!
kungen spent months trying to figure out the tactics for every boss back in the day you couldn't google the tactics you had to face the boss and learn what he does slowly progress it took them 6 months after the release to complete it
