Bro i know this video is like a year old but homie made an overpowered type weak to types no one uses because they are know for being bad and made it strong against the strongest of types making it go from s to SSS tier
Bug types might not be the most powerful Pokémon competitively but since gen 5 and especially since gen 7 they have become one of the most fun types to use during a playthrough. Their diversity in second typing and design has made them a lot more interesting than in the first gens where there were few stand outs that were often crippled by very shallow move pools among other issues.
I used assault vest Escavalier on a Kyogre/Zacian team in the last series of SwoShi, and it was the perfect counter/stall of the typical trick room teams of that time.
I always forget about the leech life buff. Most of my pokemon experience (as with most people) is prior to gen 7, so whenever I'm reminded that they quadrupled the base power of it I'm kind of floored. If anybody knows of a more significant, or even comparable, buff to a move, I'd be very happy to hear it.
I remember using Accelgor back in 2012 (or was it 2013?) as a check for Latios, which was everywhere. It was faster, and Bug Gem Bug Buzz would get the OHKO.
I'm currently on my second playthrough (a nuzlocke) and I am already "planning" a third playthrough where I only use the starter and the titans (only getting them when I come across them in the recommended badge order). I don't believe I would want to play this game three times if I it's bad...
