If the tree drops the top part of the acorns with the nut it's because the tree thinks there's something wrong with them. So I don't suggest eating the one that still have the tops.
Whenever I use tape for this, it gives me paper cuts on my hand. I rest the arrows on my thumb. Feathers don't, though. They're also so much easier to stick on and take a lot less time.
You need a new pot, or a new measuring device. I've never seen a penny stove or a Trangia that couldn't boil 240cc water with 30cc alcohol. Of course, I've also never seen a tea light that could hold more than 20cc alcohol fuel. If you were using that tea light to measure out 30cc alcohol, there's your problem. It looks like an extended burn 6-8 hr tea light, 38mm high. That's only 20 cc at best. A 75mm diameter tea light would have to be 25-26 mm high to hold a full 30 ml.
first of all this is not desert. secondly you will be buried in a desert storm in real situation. lastly there was not enough light to see anything during your filming. thanks for the effort though.
I learned that the shell should be removed before putting it in the water and the acorn should be ground. I put my acorns into the water with shell, so I will remove the shells tomorrow morning and grind it.
*I managed to get the weight down to 3.12 pounds>>>**nub.best/7sts** It kept me dry in the rain and it’s pretty easy to set up. if you’re considering this tent you can’t beat it*
Amba sauce is smelly because of Cumin used in it. You may make some changes in the spice mix to get read of the smelly sweat. It tastes great thou. Amba sauce is commonly used in Falafel sandwiches.
You don't have to be homeless to use cardboard to supplement your sleeping pad, Try a regular closed cell pad, Plus a corrugated cardboard of simular size, You can all so fold duct tape over the exposed edges of the cardboard, A light synthetic material blanket wrapped around the cardboard, This will be sufficient fore most conditions.

Good idea!! Thank you!! Would some small semi-circular "notches" on the bottom edge of the two slats help to better secure the pot holder to the stove?
