Linkswell Automotive Inc is dedicated to bringing the very best factory integration possible to the 12 volt industry. I have plugged in wired and everything works but when I check the volume on my phone the volume does not match what is coming out of the LinksWell Gen4 radio. But when I just use Bluetooth music it works well. Can you give me some advice or tips?
@@Marshall421 you can check www.Americanmuscle.com they may have some old stock of them. We do not manufacture this anymore. We only make our 12” T-Style for the Mustang now.
@@LinksWellInc Awesome idea. Thanks, man. I had the Linkswell 5 for my Jeep and sent it back and am getting ready to have the 6 installed. Very excited about that upgrade. Did you guys ever have any report skipping when listening to music (this was on the 5 for me, and pretty much every song), where the song would seem to miss a half second or so once in a while?
@@Boogra so depends what. Wireless CarPlay actually has a big issue with WiFi interference on every radio. Factory included. It’s an issues with the tech currently.
So on the subwoofer control menu, where he is adjusting the DB number, that controls how loud the subwoofer gets? The higher the number the louder? He has it at 13 i believe

It's ashame that you don't sell the screen protectors online, not everybody has a retailer close by. You sell the radios online(amazon) why not the screen protectors.
@@robinparker99 so we actually do not sell anything on Amazon or to the retail public. If there is a shop selling our products on Amazon it is not us. So what they sell has nothing to do with us outside of us selling them the product. What they buy from us and sell we do not decide. You can reach out to www.adcmobile.com they are one of our biggest online dealers. They will sell you the product and give you the customer support the Amazon shops never do.
@@AlexHuston-kr4nt so understand our techs primary job is not retail customer support, but are here first for our authorized dealers. If you need help your authorized dealer is your source for help first. If they need help in helping you out guys are ready for them. So if you are after getting support quickly you need your contact your selling dealer. We have email/chat help to try and grab the few we can but our tech team is not nearly big enough to help all end users and our dealer techs will always be helped first. We help/train our dealers so if their customers have any issues they can assist quickly, and in person. When we train a tech we train them to help multiple end users, when we help an end user we have to help all of them. For us to do this we would have to triple our team and so price for our products. This is the best way for all involved. Our team will respond when they can (also as long as the email actually went through, they get lost inside the website system sometimes) or hit up your dealer.
@@z-zociety-family4045 nothing for that older super duties. There are to many variables we wouldn’t be able to produce one radio it would take multiple. It would also cost us a ton to develop due to the trucks no longer being manufactured. At this point the overhead is way more than we can justify.
I have a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee loredo, i bought the Tesla style radio, everything is working good i just cant get the AC to work from the radio, it works from the bottom panel but not from the radio
My system is set to sleep mode (fast reboot) and everytime i turn on the car the live wallpaper reverts back to default static wallpaper of the unit, how can we set it to remember live wallpaper selection?
Its your radio, are there any settings that i have to change, all works well, even static wallpaper remains save, but only live wallaper from a third party app reverts back to default radio's wallpaper after fast boot (sleep mode ON)
@@Rileypbbcc so not wirelessly because the phones keep locking it down. But if you use our HDMI input adapter. You can plug your phone in using the appropriate HDMI adapter and then mirror your phone that way. 95% of the time casting though isn’t necessary because you can just install the app on the radio itself and run it native on the radio apart from your phone.
Even with the right car mode this still isn't working for me man. The hardware button works but no temp on the software or fan speed. No customer service help either
@@johnmcginty515 so if it’s a 2010 that isn’t our radio. We don’t make one for that model vehicle. So unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to help get it going. You need to contact the manufacturer of the radio.
I dont have the crackling. But on my 2015 ram 2500 with the linkswell xl gen6 volume all the way up at 40 i can barely hear the music. Running wireless android auto. How to i get the volume louder??? Factory alpine premium 8.4 was way louder.
@LinksWellInc factory amp is off. I've gone thru all your videos. And every setting I can find. Max volume on this radio is 40 and with it all the way up and my doors open in the quiet country I can barely hear the music. 😢 so driving down the road sucks barely hearing it and the forbid I roll down a window it's a fail
@@LinksWellIncok wierd thing just happened. I turned my radio down to 26 and Major clear volume...I'm so confused going back up to 40 volume decreases.
I'm running a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 using the Maestro T-harness in my Jeep JL, and I really like the RF DSP. Is it possible to keep the DSR1 and it's DSP controls but with the Gen 6 T-style? What would be the best way to wire, factory harness and let the DSR1 handle the processing or RCAs from the T-style to the DSR1?

What about the toggles at the bottom I notice the head unit has the hazard lights but what about traction control and the other features. This unit removes the toggles so I’m just curious if those features are still available
@@RockyBalboa-f3b yep the 3 toggles become button that are set around the screen just like the hazards. The only toggle we do not have is the exhaust one for the high end Cobras.
Hi I have the Gen5 for a 2016 silverado and I just installed a sub and 4 channel amp and now I have loud static/hissing noises coming from the speakers and it won't go away. Any idea on how to try to fix it?
@@parkerj7461 so how is the signal to the amp connected? What amp is it? If you have the gains too high on the amp it will often produce white noise or static sounds.
@LinksWellInc it was hooked up to the pre outs on radio itself but the static noise was even worse so it's hooked up to a line output converter. And it's a deaf bonce 4 channel amp
I just installed this in my 2018 Silverado 3500, music sounds good but ive lost bass? No add on bass just oem stock, i do have the bose system and i do have the adapter installed.

Beautiful. When can I install this in Canada? Does this use Android as well? I would choose the LInkswell because it offers angle, pitch and yaw on the dash. That is excellent, and it looks a little different than the standard Android screen upgrades that I've seen.
They are Android based yes. You can see some of the Android features in some of our other videos. So we have a distributor in Canada by the name of Automobility. If you contact them they could check for the closest dealer to you.
You can purchase from any of our Authorized Dealers. To find a local one use the find a retailer tab on our website www.linkswellinc.com. As for installing yourself that depends on your ability to work on a car. We have an install video on our channel.
When I press the call button on my steering wheel google opens and I say "Call Angie " it replies ok and brings up Angie's info and attempts to call her. but the I get a message network failed! If I select call on my phone it works fine. What am I doing wrong. Also my FM radio work ok but the signal is weaker. I loose signal is a lot of places I did not loose it before.
No. We don’t retain any of the factory SYNC or radio parts. Doing that would limit the features we could add and leave us vulnerable to issues caused when Ford updates the SYNC. So to prevent issues, control quality, and add features SYNC is removed.

@@stephensfida7816 it means the ZLyNK update for the hardware on our radio will be different then the update for a radio with different hardware. Since they are their own company all we can do is give reports of issues and wait on them for updates. We have no control over when.
@LinksWellInc You know guys. I love your radio, but it would be nice to be able to update key components and software of the radio. Is there any way you can reach out to these people? And get them to send you the update for the appropriate radio. Thank you.
@@stephensfida7816 so that is what we do. Apologies if I am not being clear on it. That is what I am trying to communicate. With the .34 version we have reported to them the issues we have with it. We continue to ask for an update to address the connection issues and what not, but we can’t do more than press them because it isn’t our update to create. So over the couple years working with them we have moved from .16-.34. So updates have come out as phone updates shift. Eventually this will be the same as we step past .34. But we have no control on the time line for that.
So it’s just the way AT&T network works. It’s going to be a pain. We have a few processes that you can try to get it to work. If you email the tech’s using the chat icon in the website. They can get you the little tech sheets we have if you want to try.
@linksWellInc Okay. Here's the deal. I bought a 2016 ram XL screen from a dealer that went out of business the next week. So I have no technical support available to me from which I bought the unit. What I need is the ability to purchase a SIM card that will work on my Verizon post pay plan. The IMEI on the radio of course states that it is invalid in Verizon system. I have messaged the linkswell contact email several times and not even gotten a response. I need to know what I need to do to get a SIM card that will work with my Verizon service. You are stating that it will work so I need to know how to do so. Can you by any chance give me a direct contact to where I can resolve this issue and enjoy my radio appropriately? I would certainly appreciate any help that you might give. Thank you
So our contact email is only for dealers looking to talk becoming a dealer. So that email if you sent anything tech support it will not get to techs. In the website in the lower right corner is a pop up Chat icon. Use that during business hours and it goes straight to the tech team.
Please see my response on your other comment. The steering wheel controls work through CanBus. So either you have something programmed wrong or not plugged in correctly.
Please do a video on how to get the steering wheel buttons working for the Gen4 T-Style radio in the Toyota Tundra. Mine is a 2016.. I know there has to be a way to get the buttons to work like they did with the factory radio, but I cant find any useful and detailed info on it. And I couldn't find anything in the installation instructions about it either, unless I'm going blind. Will you PLEASE do this?? Like, pretty please??? I would very much like to have my steering wheel buttons working again. Also, what brand and model of Android tablets are put in these radios? Because I need to see about getting the glass replaced because it got cracked when I was installing it. I was so pissed. It still works and the crack isn't very noticeable unless you look at it from a certain angle. But I would like to get it fixed without having to ship it off somewhere.
So the steering wheel controls all are retained through the CanBus. So if it isn’t working something is either not plugged in correctly or not programmed correctly. You won’t be able to find a screen to replace it with. It’s all built specifically for the radio. Where did you purchase the radio from?
