I have left and right blindspot cameras installed in my 2015 Ram 2500 (Laramie) it is connected to a PAC Intelligent switcher that allows me to switch from the rear camera to the sides whenever the turn signal is activated. Will this work with this unit? Or is there a multi camera feature available for left and right blind spot cameras with this unit that Linkswell offers?
@@LinksWellIncYes the outputs are the standard yellow RCA connectors and it plugs into a PAC BCI-CH41 interface module that has a harness to fit the RAM radio. Would this harness fit the T Style XL?
@@Sharloboy I really would have to see it. Chances are you will not need it because you will just plug the RCA directly to ours. Without seeing it I can say for sure though
I've had the PAC installed on my Ram as well with my blindside cameras, but I opted to go with the linkswell multicamera adapter and I have to say it's worlds of difference and way better! I've also added eight cameras on my truck now including the chassis and fifth wheel and cargo camera and dash cam.

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 with an engine tuner module hooked up where I can change the engine characteristics, such as sport mode, eco mode, tow mode, etc... I control that module with the steering wheel buttons. If I install this will it disable being able to control that tuner?

Beautiful. When can I install this in Canada? Does this use Android as well? I would choose the LInkswell because it offers angle, pitch and yaw on the dash. That is excellent, and it looks a little different than the standard Android screen upgrades that I've seen.
They are Android based yes. You can see some of the Android features in some of our other videos. So we have a distributor in Canada by the name of Automobility. If you contact them they could check for the closest dealer to you.

Quick boot, a physical dial and wireless car play? I've been holding out from buying one because of those 3 features being missing. The only thing else I could wish for is sirusxm support, but if all the other features are in gen 6 regular size I'm making the jump!
Gen 6 will have all the hardware upgrades as far as processor and what not, but will not have the dial. The dial is only on the XL that is in this video. With Sirius XM we have to start the entire process over again with the new hardware parts. So another 18-48 months before this new platform will see SiriusXM. Currently the only radio that is SiriusXM Ready is our Generation 5 T-Style.
Will I still have all the factory controls that I have in my factory unconnect system? In my factory unconnect I can change pretty much all settings for all electronics in my truck. Thanks
We retain the majority of the vehicles settings yes. Anything that we can reproduce with the UConnect module removed. Anything that would be specific to UConnect will be gone because you are removing the UConnect module when installing an aftermarket radio.
You can if you add a camera switcher. Dodge has 2 separate video signals going into their radio. We only have a single reverse input. So you need some sort of camera switcher. Like a PAC Vs41 or the like.
@@datguy6502 so you may be able to make it physically fit. But none of the electronics will work. So no climate controls, SWC, factory settings. All that is specific for the 13-18. O4 is worlds different

@@dieselawake there is a possibility unfortunately. Any tuner that changes data in the CanBus has the potential to effect other 3rd party parts like our radio. We have had our radio in vehicles with EXLYNK with no issues. And we have had some with issues.

Purchasing this unit for a Silverado. Not seeing any videos on installation. Hoping for the best, but I'm a bit worried. There are many tutorials out there for Ford, Ram, and Jeep, but no love for GMC/Chevrolet. Anyone out there have any comments on Chevrolet/GMC XL units? @LinkswellInc, please chime in when you can.

All of our T-Style Radios are built to be installed into the specific vehicle. So our radios come with all wiring and mounted needs for a standard install.
@@LinksWellInc mics, satellite radio, I don't want to rely on cell service to listen to sxm off the app. 2 hours of my drive to work is bush cell service.
@@chamakese55 so no aftermarket radio can retain a factory SiriusXM radio. 1. The tuner is inside the actual radio that gets removed. So the tuner is gone. So there is no way to make it work. 2. SiriusXM requires all aftermarket radio to use their V300 tuner. That’s the rules. We don’t make them. Our Generation 5 T-Style is XMReady and can run that V300 tuner. This radio will not. It is in the process of getting into the approval through SiriusXM which is anywhere from 12-36 months long. So following Generations of the XL will one day offer the same. Not because we didn’t want to but because of the way SiriusXM regulates it all.
@@chamakese55 correct. The process with SiriusXM takes roughly 12-36 months to get your approval. Because the Gen 6 and XL have a new faster processor they consider it a completely different radio so the process has to start all over. Gen 5 will work with SiriusXM’s V300 tuner. As for the Mics there is a long reason why we don’t. Boils down to quality control on our end. We can’t control what isn’t ours or we don’t have access to its details. So to offer the best function. We use our own that we can do that with.
Yes. Either using USB or your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, RU-vid, Prime, Disney Plus and so on. We have videos showing this here on our channel.
Check out our video from KnowledgeFest. I show our radio using the Trigger Controller. There is no physical outputs from the radio itself. But it can run an app that controls a remote up-fitter switch.
We are testing an adapter to retain the Hybrid pages. Our current radio will work with it now. Just doesn't have the Hybrid pages. This adapter will add them though. Will only work for Gen 6 and XL. Both should be releasing in 30-90 days.
@LinksWellInc I don't even use the pages and i love the more flush look of the 5 but looks like the gen 6 has wireless car play and can handle back cam and front trail. Hmmmm
@@kelseylantzy so Gen 5 has wireless CarPlay as well and is SiriusXM ready which the Gen 6 will not be. But Gen 6 will be faster with the new processor.
