I never thought I would be interested in such a show, even though it had a very diverse cast. I began binge watching 2 weeks ago, starting season 7 today & I feel sad because it will be over this weekend.
I think Piper is a spoiled brat. But I really really really loved the show because of the other characters. And it got me and resonated with me because it was about women who have been abused, oppressed in some way or another. There were REAL woman that were not inverted genders. Big bums and boobs and REAL female bodies

I love all these women. I’m rewatching the show and I’m very late to this interview but I’m glad it’s here. All these women are so beautiful and talented and fun to watch and listen to. Just graceful, intelligent, funny, down to earth people. On a side note, Laura Prepon is just unbearably beautiful and Uzo Aduba is my favorite character. Her portrayal of Suzanne is heart breaking and hilarious and humanizing. I love how she speaks in poetry with so much gesture.

Wow! The woman who plays Red has major, major Katherine Hepburn vibes. I'll bet you anything Kathrine Hepburn was a massive role model for her. Their speaking styles are extremely similar, and both actresses have amazingly versatile actressing skills.
Año 2022 y apenas en Agosto descubrí esta gran serie. Si la había escuchado pero tenía como 24 años no me llamaba la atención ver la serie y wouuu ahora que la vi como me arrepiento de no hacerlo en su momento. Pero a lo mejor este era mi momento y una fan más latina viendo esto en inglés.

I wanna know which actor the show was mainly based on...I'm going to say Chapman but once you get waaaaay into the show it could've been any of em and the reason I beamed in on Chapman is cause the show started out with her waiting to go to prison. It's to make people understand how easy freedom can be there 1 minute and completely gone the next

They said how they used piper to lead onto bigger story lines (which I think is abit rude and I think Taylor didn’t really like that either) but they said how they didn’t want there to be a main character they wanted everyone to be equal
