The rag time stuff is so cringy. Actually......most of the wack-off instrumental stuff is too. It all feels like 'trying too hard.' Lacks connection, passion or interest. And I know all these songs and liked some of them on their own.
This must be portnoy at his peak, saw him on drumeo and age seem to finally caught up to him, not the same, I can’t pinpoint what but that’s the feeling I got seeing him, he is still a monster behind drums but not quite what I am used to seeing 😊
