Hey I just purchased a claw machine that was working . When I arrived after one or two plays it stopped dropping and grabbing . It is the exact same machine you are working on in this video . Could you suggest what I should look for on this cocktail claw to fix this problem. Since it failed it also does not return to home position . I’ve never worked on a machine like this so any information is greatly appreciated
*MUY BUENOS TUS VIDEOS,ME GUSTAN MUCHO.MAS CUANDO PARTICIPA EL GATO JAJAJA.LO DEL FUSIBLE DE LA MESITA PACMAN QUIZAS ES LO PRIMERO QUE UNO TIENE QUE REVISAR PERO CUANDO TENES MAS CONOCIMIENTOS EMPEZAS A REVISAR COSAS MAS COMPLICADAS EN LA PLACA,ME PASO ALGO PARECIDO JAJAJA.(SOLO ERA EL FUSIBLE!!! JAJAJA).GRACIAS POR TUS VIDEOS DE REPARACIONES.SALUDOS*
@@coin-opcorner So the new transistors fixed the problem because the resistor in the middle of the transistors blew up so that bad resistor might have damaged those other transistors.
Do you have any video on changing out a Northwestern from candy to 1 in capsules? I got all the parts but when I use coin it just lets a mass amount of capsules drop
You know what the crazy part is about that machine. I think I see it on facebook marketplace now. It has the same damage in both spots as the one in your video.
Your favorite machine is mine too and was made and designed by my late uncles company. Oak Manufacturing in Vernon Ca. I have the same machine given to me by Lane Weitzman my uncle from his personal office collection. Thanks for rebuilding these OAK machines and keeping them alive.
Would you happent to know anyone who repairs cigarette machines in northern california? I have a Rowe Riviera 25 and it lights up but doesnt do anything as well.

I just came across your videos, just subscribed I live in the UK, just starting out on sweet vending machines, is there any way you can change the mechanism to take a different coin?
Good video! I thought you were headed in the wrong direction with the wooden ramp at first (should've kept the plexi), but it turned out really nice! Good job!
Nice video, thanks for posting. I have a Pac Man board with a very similar issue as the one board you have at 3:44 of this video. Appears to be static colored garbage. The first thing I did was to replace ALL the sockets including the Z80 socket and daughter board sockets. (only managed to mess up one trace), but still have the same issue. Were you able to solve your issue with the garbage and how? Can't wait for Part 2 and thanks again for posting this!
The ones you see in this video are terrible, I recommend these instead: www.arcadepartsandrepair.com/store/tools-supplies/tools/ic-dip-extraction-removal-tool/
