This channel is about me and my life style of riding bikes, and enjoying my life with the bikes I have. I currently ride a 2022 KLR 650 and a 2019 Honda Gold Wing Tour, and I will take either of those bikes, Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall over being in a cage. I do have to use a cage at times for work, but for the most part I am riding my bikes year round here in Northern Utah, and I love the freedom of being able to see and hear everything around me at all times.
Sorry about your experience and very happy you're not hurt more seriously. If you auto driver was issued a violation for anything, please go get yourself and the bike checked out for safety at the driver's insurance expense. Auto accidents also kick in a chiropractor visit too. When you reacted, did you fee3l a time dilation? I have.
Dang Bill, so sorry about your accident just glad nobody was critically injured. Sorry about your bike too hope it is just a wire issue. Take care and stay safe my friend. 😊
People have this idea that only the Government can step on our freedom of speech and the constitution Says that the can't do that, but at the same time what gives big media companies the right to do what the Government doesn't even have the right to do? I think it's bull shit and I am just going to speak my own language from now on...lol
I like how Waze lets me know when there's a railroad crossing, an object on the road, a speed trap, a car on the shoulder or an accident up ahead even when im not using the app to navigate. It seems that as long as I have my phone's bluetooth connected to my android auto device, I will get notified either way. I was driving through town listening to music one day last week and about to approach a busy intersection when it warned me of a speed trap. I was pleasantly surprised because Google Maps never warned me of anything unless I was using it to navigate to a certain address. Im glad the Waze app is now working for you because I committed on a previous video on how Waze wasn't working correctly because I needed to disable Google Maps and that solved my problem.
Free speech doesnt apply to youtube dude, its a private company. It only applies to what the government can do. Don't pretend you have any knowledge to impart if you dont even know this very basic concept.
You know for just a quick second I was going to lash out at you but decided to keep things simple. Yes a private company can and does censor our free speech, just like If I want paid for my videos I have to talk like a preacher, or I don't get paid, now here is the kicker, they will keep running ads and keeping all the money they just won't pay me, so it's alright for them to make money off me swearing but it's not alright for me to make money off swearing. that is a double standard and it's happening on all platforms not just you tube but Google is getting to the point they are censoring more and more channels that is what's called stepping on our right to free speech, you don't have to be government to infringe on someone's free speech, and google is not a private company they are on the stock exchange which makes them a publicly held company. owned by the share holders. But even that is not the point, when you have the power to just shut someone down any time you want for saying something you don't like or not recommending videos because you don't like what they say so the channel can't grow, or even withholding payment because they say some bad words, or completely kicking someone off the platform that is stepping on peoples free speech. Government is not the only ones that should be held to the standard of allowing free speech.
Good morning Bill! I’m seriously wanting to start a channel 😮. If you can think back that far, will you please give me some tips on getting started? Not technically, but … the mental stuff- like video ideas etc.
the best thing I can tell you is this. It doesn't matter what sort of channel you start, just start, and if you are using your phone to get started making video, the most important thing I can tell you is this. Do not look at your self in the screen, look at the camera it's self, because that is where we are all at. if you are looking at your self in the screen when you watch the video back you will notice it looks like you are looking off to the side all the time, it's because you are not looking at the camera, so that is the most important thing I can tell you. Make a ten minute video on your phone and post it on you tube, fill in the title and description and then make another one a few day later, and just keep going not matter what the subjects are, just keep making videos and people will find you. But it's not going to happen over night it takes time so be consistent and post either one or two videos every week on the same days. making videos on your phone you don't have to edit or anything just up load and fill out the title and description. that's the easiest way to get started and then you get more challenging as time goes on.
@@mymotorcyclelifestyle thank you 😊. I really do appreciate your advice. So much. That’s it- that’s what I’ll do! I was stuck, lol! Thank you for the Waze/google info too!
You are amazing for sharing this with us all. “What a normal guy goes through riding a KLR off road”. I had a gen1 that I would take on trails like that. Your bike is like 100 pounds heavier than that old bike though. My advice is stop overthinking every obstical that pops up in front of you. Keep up your momentum up. You’re a brave old fucker that’s for sure.
over thinking is what every one does on a bran new bike, and doing single track for the first time in their life...lol , I would over think in my 4x4 also...lol Didn't have much fun at the time but laughed my ass off while editing the video and learned a lot from watching myself as well.
Thank you very much for all you reply. I enjoy learning your opinion on the subjects you discuss. I usually reply in the moment as the subject comes up. I'll try making note and saving comments to make enmass. I also though more comments helped your algorythim 😁
yea that's a myth, about more comments, I mean yes more comments help, but when you comment more than one time, it's knows it's still you commenting and only counts as one comment. But thanks for trying I do appreciate it.
I use only what I have at home too. No need for a gym. Besides, I'd rather not get used and abused by women like happens now=a=days. A guy can't win for losing in today's society so I don't care any more.
right I thought the same thing, I did actually check out a couple places near my house and they are full of woman making videos, they are basically just taking over the gyms and making every man seem like a creep, nope I don't need that shit either.
oh they will the more you move the more you breath and the higher your heart rate goes, believe me when I am exercising there is plenty of cardio going on for me.
well that is one of the problems, I couldn't stand very long doing track riding because my legs were in such bad shape, now after doing all these squats I believe I would be in much better shape for that. I guess we will see next year when I am in better shape how the off road riding treats me again.
I never do that, I mean sure everyone knows that if they don't get the chip repaired they are taking a chance on having to replace the entire windshield when it cracks, so I really don't need to tell people that at all...lol
I don't want to spend the money doing that and wasting my time, it's not the same as just going business to business for me, for you it's fine because you are targeting home owners, but for me I am targeting vehicle owners and the best way to talk to more people is to walk into a business and talk to everyone that works there and pick up more work that way you know spur of the moment shit.
#EXERCISEPROGRAM- this is what a friend does, we works on th his arms one day,,, and after two or three hours he stops, then two days later he works on his legs, he does not do everything in one day he breaks it up he works out three days a week he breaks it up to give himself time to heal from working out lefts waights for about 15 minutes then takes a ten minute rest.. he does reps for 2 sets of 15 to each arm then takes a 5 mnute rest in between set that way your not hurting yourself. try that do reps 1 set is both arms for 15 then 15 for the other, then back to the right then left then break for 5 minute, then do the reps right left right left break for five next day legs and take breaks ever other rep
Right on, but I'm not lifting weights or going to gym, I'm just doing body weight exercising, at home, pushups, sit ups, squats and such, not lifting heavy weights or anything, these are things I should be able to do every day and not be this sore. That just tells you how bad of shape I really am in, Believe me once I get back into shape I will be able to do these things every day and not be sore or tired from doing them, and then maybe I will consider adding some weights to the program, right now I am just trying to get my strength back a little.
@@mymotorcyclelifestyle he does his at home as well he lives down stairs from me , and he does the same thing also lefts waight push ups he does about 15 to 20 then takes a break about five minutes in between sets, and he does them for around two hour every break he shacks his arms to relax them when he does situps he does the same so the next day he is not sore and he is 68 so takes breaks 5minute breaks in between each set of pushups or situps that why you won't be sore anymore
@@mymotorcyclelifestyle we have a bench and the heavest waight we left is fifty lbs so it would be 100 lbs then hand waights from 5 to 15 lbs for by cips and we left waights and that helps look good not to big of muscles
I bought a 2023 KLR 650 Adventure back in July and have been riding it every day that I can. I just bought the tusk foot pegs and extended shift lever. Most of my riding has been paved road as well on the flattest terrain in Ohio. It’s been a great bike and is fairly comfortable and easy to maneuver for a new rider. It is heavy but in some cases that weight provides good balance. Thank you for posting.
this bike in my opinion is only half good on the street as a street bike would be and only half as good in the dirt as a dirt bike would be. but I like it...lol
The 1st Amendment (freedom of speech) guarantees that the GOVERNMENT cannot infringe upon it. It has nothing to do with private companies. They can do as they please. Now, whether the free market allows said companies to censor speech is entirely up to the people. (think Bud Light and that Dylan what's his name)
I agree 100% that's why thru the entire video I never said that the government was infringing on my free speech, I just kept saying it was google. The fact is they got in way over their heads and didn't expect that as many people would be on You tube trying to make money off making videos, so they are just making it harder and harder and harder for anyone to make money, and their rules are getting out of control. So I don't care about making money any more I am just going to be myself and it feels so good...lol
If I was riding a Mule, all I would have to do is sit back and let the Mule do it's thing, because they are very sure footed and Unlike me they would have picked a better route...lol
Well I never did single track before but I wasn't going to turn around, I needed to see what I could do and what the bike could do, I believe I stated in the video that a good rider could probably take this bike up this trail with no problem at all..lol
So even though I live on a land donut (Oahu) I use Google sometimes because it takes into account traffic congestion and if I”m in a hurry it helps usually. You mention GPS and I recently bought a Garmin DriveSmart 86, 8 inch model. The reason for it is because next month I’m traveling to the Yellowstone area and I’ve heard that sometimes up there in the sticks google/cell service doesn’t work so great. I actually like it in some ways better than google maps on my phone. Here on Oahu I don’t think it accounts for traffic as well as google or WAZE but I like it for some things that are unique to Garmin Satellite technology.
Can't afford anything right now, especially not something like that. What I am doing is making me pretty sore so I know it's working, I will just stick to what I am doing for a while.
So ya, that is actually not what 'freedom of speech' means. Freedom Of Speech, as it pertains to the 1st amendment, provides protections from the gov't making laws restricting it. RU-vid is not the government; it is a private enterprise. As such, there are no such protections on RU-vid.
A company private or public can still infringe on your freedom of speech by censoring you or punishing you for speaking a certain way, hence the reason they are not paying me on this channel, I know what freedom of speech is and that the first amendment insures that the government can't infringe on that, but companies are allowed to do just that and even though they are not the government they are still trying to control speech and punishing those that do not comply. I believe I mentioned several times thru the video that it was Google doing this and I don't believe that I mentioned the government at all not one time.
Have you ever tried cycling? I only wish I started at a earlier age, the only bad thing is you need to start out with a brand name bicycle Walmart bicycles will just not hold up, and something with a 25 mm tire for speed that way you can race yourself to try and improve
I used to ride a bicycle all the time when I was young, but no I have not done that lately, right now I know it's going to take time, to work my way into anything I want to do, because I am weak compared to what I used to be, so it's all going to take time, right now I am just going to work on what I am doing to start, then I will work on getting into other things as I get in a little bit better shape
