I share tips that make settling into life in Canada more seamless for newcomers to Canada. I will also show you how far I have come on my journey to finding and loving my true authentic self.

Wow, this is a great message to all families but I think it's very important that you recognize an issue that new immigrants are experiencing in Canada. We recently immigrated from Canada to El Salvador because our children were born in Canada but we wanted to give them a stronger sense of their culture and identity and values of their father's homeland. It's so important for us as parents to keep their identity and roots, but also good to be proud Canadians at the same time! 😊
First off a super happy birthday to your sister. I pray God gives her the fortitude to bear the loss and the strength to keep going. Secondly, this has just reinforced what I have been avoiding doing. Ive been fighting the thought of switching careers and this is nudged me a step in the right direction, I know what I need to do and Im going to do it. Thank you
Hi Marina. Your decor is coming together beautifully and I must say, your taste is 👌👌 I'm the kind of customer that you can sell rubbish to, if you have a winning attitude. Attitude does determine altitude and I'll encourage African stores to prioritise delivering excellent service consistently and they won't have to solicit customers. Nice vlog.
This time off matter! We need to do better. Also, know that when they're investigating fraud or theft issues at work, one group of people they look at are those who never take time off.
Exactly. From running stores which have goods far pricier than its similar alternatives to renting shared accomodation from their units. The markup defies logic, and the selling point is skin colour/cultural similarity (emotional ties) as opposed to the value propisition of utility.
If e dey your hand was a sermon! I saw said post and I just thought, If giving me a good customer experience each time I come to patronize you is not top of mind for you as a store, the first time you see me is the last time you ll see me. I am kuku not a tree and can buy from any other place that suits me. Lovely pics on your walls.
This Ethnic-shaming is not for me. Stores aside, even services, Nigerian bakers, hairdressers, homespa e.t.c where I am are charging way more than other Africans offering the same service. Then the service you are offering from your home, a Canadian registered business that has a store, pays rent and taxes is offering for half price! Mba nau😡🤮
Hey beautiful Couple! I recently started following your content and came across this video of you and your husband sharing your amazing journey of building two houses in 5 years! I'm so impressed by your achievements and loved the way you respectfully and lovingly interacted with your husband during the explanation.Your positivity and teamwork are truly inspiring! Keep sharing your wonderful content.Remain blessed 🙏🏾🫂😘👏🏽
Hi,dear Marina! I wanted to reach out and appreciate your thought-provoking video on asylum cases. Your insights resonated with one of a friend, and I particularly enjoyed your candid perspective on the complexities of genuine vs. false claims. Keep sharing your valuable thoughts! (And I completely agreed with your points on this your video shared,my dear!🫂😘👏🏽
Hi Marina, Lovely vlog. Glad you had a safe trip to Regina. As much as i love showing support to Nigerian owned businesses, I agree with all the points you mentioned being my yardstick for measuring my future support if those boxes are not ticked for me. Like, you cannot have bad customer service, low quality product, outrageous prices, etc and expect me to come back next time with my hard earned money, mbanu!
Happy Birthday to your sis. I can imagine what she is going through. Lost mine when I was 47... much older than her and my life changed forever. May God be her constant companion. Not an easy life.
I really like you. Stumbled unto your channel and i am hooked. Like your hair. Like your house. Like your mannerisms and gestures. Like your down to earth way of laying out your truths. Good to meet you. All be it virtually.
Guess what i had my first baby boy at age 35 and in 15 months i had another boy. My boys look like twins. At age 40, i was surprised with a baby girl...and i don't know what my womb reserve for me . At 41 i have a 6 months old baby girl while my youngest sister, who is 12 years younger, has grown up kids. God works in mysterious ways! Congratulations you guys...i pray you get a bonus baby or two ❤❤❤❤

Hi Marina! I am your namesake and live in Lagos Nigeria. I wanted to know if you were called Marina growing up in Nigeria because I really get a lot of questions as to why my parents named me that. I am from Benin 🇧🇯 and Marina is a French name but Nigerians really finds it funny that I am named Marina….. I just wanna know what it was like for you growing and attending schools in Nigeria
This is such a beautiful question. It was a struggle for sure. A lot of people still believe that I named myself Marina but no, this is my legal first name as it appears on my birth certificate. I probably should do a story time video about this and share my experience.
Hello Sis. Thanks for the free resume review given to us with Google meet. You asked me to send my resume to you so that you help me review it. My name is Efosa. I have sent it to the email used for that program. I have been waiting for response. God bless you richly.
