hi there ive just got an mg4 trophy, ive tried connecting the mg ismart app but it says its still connected to the previous owner and wont let me connect to my phone, do you have any idea on how to reset that?
@CheesyJT I had the same issue with one of the cars MG lent me recently. Apparently you have to take it to your local dealership and ask them to reset the system which is really frustrating
I noticed that the wildtrack with performance LED headlights doesnt have the levelling adjustment in the cab next to the light switches like the Sport Ranger. Does the performance LED lights have self leveling? Based on how the vehicle is sitting? People towing or people with lift kits will want to have the headlight dipped down abit to compensate the lift of the front.
@marcusbarnes5929 The Matrix LED headlights on the Wildtrak have automatic level adjustment to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. It helps when towing or when a heavy load is in the tub.
Thank you for a nice and honest review. Most reviews of the MG ZS EV are focussing too much on the difference between the ZS EV and, for example, a Tesla. This however is not fair in my eyes. The ZS EV Is a great, no nonsens EV for a low price (well, in The Netherlands it was when we ordered it, now they increased the import taxes by over 30 %) Still, it's way cheaper then the Tesla. We find the ZS EV a great car for driving around the city and the occasional road trip. Plenty of charging stations in The Netherlands as well.

amazing: during the test drive, voice is very clear and you can't hear anything else! I've never seen a RU-vid video of a test drive where you don't hear the engine or road noise.

Hi I’m Tony from Ireland I have enjoyed your channel in the MG 4. I have two questions for you is the length and width of the boot space the Same as the MG ZS EV and secondly in your opinion would it be suitable for a Taxi. Thank You and keep up the good work.
@anthonyfoley3377 Hi Tony. I wouldn't think it would be suitable as a taxi, as it's fairly compact inside. Maybe look at the new MG HS or the BYD Sealion 6 if you need something with a bit more space.
G'day Webby, thanks for a very informative video. I've had my XLT for about 9 weeks so still learning about the Sync 4 system. I would really like to know how to turn down the volume for the phone ring tone without turning down the volume on the call. The only way I've been able to do this results in me having to turn up the volume when I've answered the call because I can't hear the caller. Hope this makes sense.
@KLEINY666 Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad the video was useful for you. I've had a look in the settings and I can't see anywhere you can change the volume of the phone when it's ringing. Have you tried adjusting the ring tone volume on your phone itself? this might help solve your issue.
Can I ask what the minimum space that the Wildtrack will actually parallel park itself? I have seen somewhere that 1.5 times the length of the vehicle is advised, but I imagine there has to be a specific minimum size of space it will allow the system to try to get it in?
In the UK, the MG4 with the 77kWh battery is priced at £36,495, but if we followed the EU in imposing tariffs on Chinese-built electric cars, it would likely be priced at over £50,000. In case you’ve been living under a rock, the European Union’s decision to impose tariffs on electric cars imported from China is the start of a new trade war between these two economic powers. The European Union believes that the Chinese government is actively subsidising its battery electric vehicle industry to help accelerate its global expansion. They concluded that this practice is unfair and has a negative impact on the local industry. Access to subsidised loans and other financial benefits promoted by the Chinese government have allowed Chinese OEMs to offer competitive prices for their electric cars.
Great how ford strips sooo many of these features for SA and yet charge more.... but i guess 80% of wildtrak buyers in SA wont even know what adaptive cruise means....

@sunilgautam7894 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I haven't driven the Mitsubishi yet, but I was really impressed by the Kona. Personally I'd go for the Kona as it's a great package all round.
@@WebbyOnCars thank you for response :) . Looking at specifications of 2024 Base models for both, some channels suggest Mitsubishi eclipse wins. But yeah it's not up to the mark when it comes to design and interior. I'm after a reliable engine and more guarantees. It's a great dilemma for me as don't have much knowledge on technical parts😀.

Question …. Would you recommend the Everest or the Double cab? I have the double cab but personally I feel I should move over to the Everest. Yes they both are different but I only chose the Double Cab because I am able to load lots of luggage. But it seems the Everest can take quite a bit as well
@basheermunga4322 It depends on what you're looking for. The Everest will give you more flexibility if you need to carry extra passengers or want a bit more comfort.
Hi Webby. Great videos…thank you so much! One question…I’m looking at buying a 2022 Everest Ambiente. It doesn’t have the 360 degree cameras, but obviously has the front and rear parking sensors. What does the display look like when you are reverse parking and what else does the car do or show you to make it easier to park?
@kathbaber2710 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. When you reverse, the rear camera appears in the top half of the display in the SYNC4 system.

Great video, got my mk8.5 ST a few months back with only 6000miles on it. 3 door model in race red with all options inc. panoramic roof, its been fantastic so far. I had the mk7.5 ST for 7 years and loved it, now onto this and hoping for atleast another 7 years with the 8.5.
Thanks, a very good, honest, comprehensive review. Just a note that in June 2024 the extended range MG ZS EV is selling for a RRP of $46,990 so some might say, quite the bargain.
@basincut100 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Prices of EV's are changing constantly at the minute, so I can only quote the current price at the time of filming. They are getting much better value nowadays, so I think we might start to see a few more on the road.
I personally wanted a Camry hybrid but it was slightly out of my price range. I decided on a Corolla but couldn't even get my hands on an ex-demo. I needed a car by mid June. I settled on the i30 and I'm not disappointed. Got it for $36,600 driveaway with tinted windows, hardwired dashcam and carpet floor mats thrown in. Feel I got a pretty good deal and hopefully it holds it's value well enough so it's worth it for me to upgrade in a couple of years. I'm 6'2" 155kg too and this is well spacious enough for me. Not too sure the Corolla would've been.
@XaviRonaldo0 Sounds like you got a good deal on your i30! Congratulations, I'm sure it will serve you well. It's definitely bigger inside than my Corolla sedan, something I noticed when I got back in my car after driving the i30.
Mate, I suggest you're slightly lead footed if you're only getting 5.9/100km in stop start traffic. I get by far more fuel economy in this situation than on the highway. I drove from Merrylands to Bulli yesterdat evening anc was well below 4l/100 in the urban traffic until I hit the 80-100kmh zones where it went above 4. If you drive it remotely conservatively you get better fuel economy in urban areas than on the highway.
I am a conservative driver, but my journey to work is mostly uphill hence geting that figure. I managed to get 4.4l/100km as an average for the week i drove the car.
@@michaeldejesus7418 You won't be disappointed. I use mine every day too, and although it's not an exciting car, I love it! I use an app called Road Trip to log all my fuel fill ups which I know is a bit nerdy, but I love knowing how fuel efficient my car is.
@WebbyOnCars I'm not fuss about not being exciting, that's where I take out the next gen raptor out of the garage when I'm feeling like burning fuel lol. And thanks for the app, I'll look into that, I also like knowing how good/bad I've done at the end of the week with l/100km
Awesome tutorial, l found that the driver assist was dangerous to have on when you have mud tyres that are 35" or bigger. It Makes the steering very twitching and will jerk as well. Have everything like the intensity low and assist on alert not aid. After countless wheel alignments, new tyres MTs, RTs, Ats from all sorts of sizes, a whole new suspension kit by superior engineering with adjustable res, coilovers SE UCA and LCA, tie rods, sway links and more. We still couldn't figure out the problem why the steering was dangerously unpredictable until someone on RU-vid mentioned the driver assist is the cause for unpredictable steering, and should only be used on freeways. So yea if your having issues with unpredictable, twitching, sensitive steering look at having all driving assist off or on low.
