It’s nice what there doing and a great idea but this part of Corona is not a safe place to hang out to me it’s like a new park in the middle a not so nice area. But I guess we will see .
With dedicated staff support and ongoing programs at City Park once it's open, this will actively help to reduce homelessness at the park and create safe, welcoming spaces for all.
This idea will work if you have 2 plus lane. Some genius made this parking where even two lane is not enough. Now they reduce two lane to 1 lane and made bicycles and parking the most stupid thing I ever seen. You need to help people to reduce traffic not create more traffic. Seriously someone need brain to use sometime.
To allow traffic to flow over the trains while they pass, rather than getting severely backed up waiting for each one. The amount of train action is anticipated to significantly increase over the years so this should be very helpful.
I have my car tire flat at the McKinley street crosss street of Simpson street during the construction do the city will reimbursement for the tires damaged?
I just drove up Magnolia 2 nights ago & found myself on a bridge I've never seen before. It was there past McKinley and before La Sierra. I wanna say right at Pierce?
This is so cool to watch. Is there any chance of a less hectic edit of it being posted? More like 3-4 mins? It goes by so fast, I could hardly make sense of what all was happening (even after 2 views)
It was confusing in person as well when I drove up into this project a few months ago. I just watched it again with the playback speed slowed down to a quarter or half time & it helped. (The settings button in top right corner when vid is playing.)
I drive by that McKinley every day and amazed how they did, kudo to the engineer and workers. If you've been driving like me every day for the past 40 years, then you will be appreciated.
Never seen a more out of place and scale project than this. A bridge like that should be in a area that is much more picturesque than this....looks like a turd in a punchbowl
Everyone saying new shelter for the homeless clearly doesn’t live by McKinley because they’ve been around the area long before the building of this bridge.
Here is a vision you lost…. Taking care of crime, drugs on the streets, and getting homeless problem handled. You guys are so overrun with these problems; the drugged up homeless will love these new areas to hang out. Didn’t see any of those problems in those black and white pictures you showed. If you’re so well funded; why not clean up the streets and empower your police department.
Hello, Our City Park Master Plan, Homeless Strategic Plan, and Downtown Revitalization Plan are all interconnected! Every puzzle piece plays a part, and each has their own process.
Very good job with the video. Makes me want to work for the city even though I kind of already do just not a hourly wage. Make sure you guys some how get feedback from the old school families by possibly door knocking. Some elders don't know how to use computers and aren't interested in learning. However they may be suffering from depression and want to give feedback about the trails, etc.
They will be available for purchase at all of the City's upcoming events! Check out www.CoronaCA.gov to learn more about Halloweekend and Holiday Lighting events!
So they're going to make the 1 of 2 91 freeway bypasses in the city smaller? Railroad/auto center already gets backed up enough as it is, now you're going to funnel all the cars that use 6th there too?
Not fewer driving lanes!! That wouldn't be an improvement. Wider sidewalks is a fine idea, but not necessary, being as how the sidewalks aren't overflowing with people trying to get by each other. The new city park sounds good, but the current one's problem is that it is inhabited by homeless folk, so that problem wouldn't change with any upgrades. Corona went downhill when the people in charge of such things began having no respect for Corona's true value. Its rich history and Historical relevance are truly reasons to be proud of Corona. When the majority of the citrus groves were razed for NO VALID REASON then just left on the ground dead for YEARS as a reminder that it was for no valid reason was a sickening slap in the face to anyone who loves Corona, fruit or both. Then, they had the nerve to leave the official City Seal as it was -with the image of citrus fruit on it. Appalling. So are they aware of the city's History, and value it enough to include a nod to it on the Seal, or do they think oranges are just something the city used to grow quite a lot of, but that can be ended - no big deal if some opportunity to rake in revenue presents itself? And oh well, too bad it didn't pan out after destroying several hundred tons of fruit trees?!! 😡
Man they help all I gave them Russian information how make youtube channel video some of telegram and from friends add me them in ukraine telegram has location tracking
This short is amazing! It's funny and clever, with just the right touch of sarcastic humor. I love it-not just because my son is the actor, writer and director, but because it genuinely makes me laugh out loud. And laughter is truly good for the soul. Good job, J.G.
Thank you Mrs. Marta Cortez, Eduardo’s Mexican Restaurant for bringing up the voice of tenants and business owners in the area. I feel, the ones that are still around, are the ones that have been on the forefront holding up the fort. It surprises me that we didn’t get an invitation to attend. I sincerely hope Corona city will consider the tenants and the business owners that have their livelihoods and investments at stake here. Peter Oh SGC Teppan Sushi 113 E 6th st Corona Ca 92879
