Mrs. Wagner sure did love baking them doggone pies. She sure did! Yessiree Bob, she loved it, alright! Ayuh! It was her favorite thing in the whole wide world, mister man! I'm here to tell ya, sir. That woman positively adored baking those little pies, sure enough. No doubt. Loved it! Lived it! Adored it! Could get enough of it. Would wanna live without 'em, see. The lady was all about the pies, and nothing but the pies. Ol' Mrs. Wagner always added a teaspoon of love and a dash of affection personally in each and every pie. I cannot put into words the satisfaction on that beautiful woman's face every time she pulled a mess of pies out that wood fired oven. It was her life's work, her legacy, her pride and joy! If you still don't understand, I'm here to tell ya, that lady ate, slept, and breathed for those scrump-diddly-icious pies. As dear ol' grandpappy always said: "Dammit Ethel, stop makin' them damned pies for 10 seconds and git yer big fat ass on over here and scrape my feet!" Poor ol' grandpappy never did a git his feet scraped, because let me tell you, sir, that Mrs Wagner loved baking them delicious pies so much, she couldn't give a rats ass about grandpappy and his jacked up feet! That's how much ol' Ethel Wagner adored makin' them there pies. It's the only reason she woke up everyday. Yup! She sure did love baking them pies! Oh yeah. I forgot. She loved bein' a dominatrix, too. Let me tell you something right quick, mister. That woman adored donning her studded leather satanic lookin executioner clothes, gettin out the whips, chains, handcuffs, maces, baseball bats, siege engines, stretcher outer thingy devices, thumb screws, dildos, ben wa balls, lube, and razor wire. She simply adored a-draggin ol' grandpappy down them there stairs to her punishin dungeon. She done had herself near 12 or 14 submissive men just a begging her to f### 'em after she tortured the livin bejebus out of em. Yup, she sure did love dominatrixing! Yup. Ayuh! 🤷

when I was a kid in the mid-late 1950s, at the southern border of the Kalmyk enclave of Freewood Acres in Howell Township NJ (about 10 miles due east of Belmar) there was a small building, no more than 16 feet deep and 24 or maybe 30 feet long on the Southeast corner of Hulses Corner Rd and what was then known as US-9-4 or 9/1 now simply "Highway 9" (the main road between Newark, Freehold, and the 1890s gambling resort city of Lakewood). It was clearly abandoned for a long time. While it built sort of like a home, it had no windows, and the only door was covered with heavy planks either nailed or bolted to the front wall. On the east end of the building, facing the highway, was a large black and red hand painted Mrs Wagners Pie sign that was nearly faded away. I had no idea of the Wagners connection to Ocean Grove at the time (although by the early 60s I did but I didn't know about their bakeries "up north").. I always assumed it had at one time been either a Mrs Wagner's bakery, or perhaps a waystation as many restaurants along highway 9 in the 50s had baked goods, imported olive oil, cold cuts etc delivered right to their door via Lincoln Transit or Greyhound. Now, I guess, it whatever the building was back in the day (it disappeared in the late 50s and remained a vacant lot funtil the early 70s when it was taken by the state for a jughandle at I-195...._ the sign was likely advertising along the lines of Mail Pouch Tobacco found on barns across America.

Another complete glossing over a tragic time, when parents were committed and the kids were removed or the kids just removed to ophan/asylums where they were abused, mentally, physically, sexually, starved beaten, and sent away to labor in a factory or farms like contracted assets think close to 370 000 children were removed and basically enslaved from 1812 to 1900s and there was an orphanage for Natives, Blacks, Jews, Germans like a huge labor pool ready to go to work. Names were changed everything was forgotten, reset for a whole generation, Many docos on the Orphan trains, largest migration of children ever in the USA, When the Blacks were freed in the 1800s 43 percent were committed to mad houses in the North ,all the kids sent away to ophanages.

I can’t believe that just a few years ago I waned to join Tent City in Ocean Grove. The waiting list is years long passed from generation to generation. I love the ocean, the tent homes looked fun and they held revival meetings that interested me. After reading this I’ll stay put in Point Pleasant. Seems safer in a long run. Thank you for the great video and eye opening information. 😊

These sobs were murderous, rapists and pedophiles !!! How many children made it out alive. What really happened to the kids that were not adopted.

This "preacher" is the sole reason I don't support tv preachers... they beg for money even though they have FINE houses, yes more than one in some cases. They can afford airplanes, fancy clothes, jewelry and vehicles. I decided a long time ago, I will support my church. Those pockets- full -of money ppl don't need or deserve it!! It is a shame this "pastor" stayed in fine hotels and at well and probably traveled first class while "his" orphans/employees suffered from lack. 😡 I guess he skipped over that BIBLE teaching section.😱

This home was alot better then most. Some of these place were horrific.but I believe the reasons this was alot more happier than most was because they taught on Jesus and kindness. Most places never took them babies anywhere but to there graves. So sad. Still orahanages to this day are very sad. They have to leave there at age of 18 no place to call home no place to go. So imagine what happens to them in our Streets. I for one knows as fact what happened to me. But then Jesus and kindness found me. And no one has ever loved me as much as Jesus. So thank you Jesus for a place like this. In the early 1800's.

my gg grandfather was raised in a sort of an orphanage in Savannah in the late 1800's-no record of his family only a brother that was there with him - I am pretty sure they were Irish who did nothing to limit the number of babies they had and couldn't provide for because they were Catholic and it was God's will smh . The place eventually became Savannah's Bethesda but I can't help but think it was not a happy or nurturing place for 2 young boys way back then. More adults than kids and a super zealot religious group in charge can't be good. RIP gg grandpa Jackson Gill-

They’re thinking of exactly what the revolting foster family is thinking now. How long can we abuse them, how much can we starve them without the school noticing and how long can we reasonably prohibit them from being clean with good teeth. This system really helped those Turpin children. You praise those that intervened without realizing that many ‘fans of the playground’ look for these kids to ‘help’
