Hi mate, all good thanks, had a long break mate, but the build is back on the go, I won’t be putting anymore content out with the build, possibly do some short videos, thank you and take care 👍🏻
Hey bro how’s it going now the weathers getting better you starting your monster pond again hope it’s all going well looking forward to seeing new content bruvva
Hi mate, it’s better to add the salt before placing the fish but can also add the salt once the fish is in the bowl just don’t throw over the fish, this is a old video I learn from my mistakes, take care and thanks 👍🏻
thats going be one massive Pond :) cant wait see next vid. just out of interest roughly how expensive was the concrete ? I have to mine in 3 months no where near as big thanks for sharing
Great vid Jeff. I have one of these feeders. For anyone who has one, the inside tray can split at the bottom in a few places. Apparently it’s due to a manufacturing fault so may happen to yours. I contacted JBL who where very helpful and said it should be replaced (warranty is 2 + 2 years). Now got the replacement and very please. They are very good feeders.
Hi mate, most the block work is complete on the pond, started getting the filter pit ready once the concrete is base is done I’ll be releasing the video, didn’t get any work done in January due to weather(rain, frost, snow) but I’m back on it now that the weather is fixing up a little 👍🏻
Hi mate, I’m just waiting for the weather to fix up 🤣hopefully with in few weeks most the blocks work for the pond is complete working on the filter pit base, everything good here thanks, take care 👍🏻
Your up-flow filters and your complete filter systems are very impressive and professional. What do you consider to be the maximum flow rate in litres per hour that each barrel can handle? Thanks, Les.
Hi les, when I had the up flow up and running I was pushing between 4000lph to 5000lph the slower the better to be honest, you catch more fines, thanks 👍🏻
Thanks bro, working on the block work but stopped for now frost has kicked in, your farm projects looking banging, had me in stitches when polly tunnel was going up 🤣👍🏻
A useful item for checking the pond or as a work light or for use in a power cut from the well know online site for £9.99 No: B081NCKBGD that I purchased today its battery and rechargeable mains I thought it would be rubbish for the money however its 30w led water proof and rubber and plastic. It’s got a basic handle which is also a stand the unit is IP65 rated so would be perfect for outdoor use or as a torch as well as in the home in a power cut. It also seems to work fine with a power pack it will run from the power pack but not charge up from the power pack so you could use it anyplace. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-agz12pVv1II.html Remember to remove battery plastic or film and I’m told the strobe is for emergency use.
