Thanks Lau, I had my hands full yesterday got some of my delivery from absolute koi, so I thought let me get the bio chamber done and complete thinking I’ll be done hr tops lol plus arrange to deliver the bakki shower🤦🏻♂️ but still managed to get all done
I was going to ask why remove the shower but I have seen the comments and see you are upgrading to a stainless bakki. I am very interested to see what you have got/costs etc as I would like to upgrade. One thing about bakki is go BIG on flow/coverage!!!
I was using 30000lhp Varpi pump on the old bakki I’m just gonna use that again and add another same pump to other Bakki, I’m hoping to put a built in skimmer to pull from to bakkis which will eliminate something’s from the pond ,thanks 👍🏻jeff
keep forgetting you are pump feed no bottom drain so gravity return that needs 3 inch as a minimum 4 inch is best but as is you still have 2 inch pipe on the end cutting the flow down i guess you cant be moving the water through at a big flow it takes 4 inch and a half's hear to return max on my pumps of 18000L a hour but i run 7000L to 8000l for the norm. Can you over flow the nexus and bio if you max speed you pump or can the to two inch take it. Happy ponding
Hi Martin, your absolutely right with what your saying, when I run the nexus on full it does overflow in the eazy chamber but I never use full, once I but the bakki shower in place and have more movement around the pond suffice I’ll be cutting the pipe right down and just have the one return to pond from where the first return is now, thank you for watching 👍🏻
@@just4koi143 3 inch can handle 20000L so you would be well happy i dont know what the idea flow is for the nexus its the big one you have is it not it must be in the paper work with it
Thanks mucka, I’ve sold the bakki shower yesterday, waiting on 2 momotaro showers which I’m gonna have where the fence is, waiting for delivery from absolute koi , they sent out one and dispatched the other today👍🏻
@@just4koi143 no you made the right decision the stainless are really nice and I think having the 2 is better than just the one in the middle you could chuck a couple of big Buddha heads on the back coppings 👌
