Tyndrum to Kinlochleven is probably the best part scenery wise. I hope it’s a nice day with no midgies. Good luck with the rest of the walk. Thanks for watching👍
Hi Ross, thanks. The weather isn’t always great if sunny, tbh I’d of preferred clouds at times. Especially the longer distance days. I’d of loved some rain🤣. Thanks for watching👍
Well done mate ! You mentioned Blackwater reservoir , back in 2007 me and Baz stayed in a bothy at Loch Chiarain and the next day headed to Kinlochleven via Blackwater , we crossed over the dam wall 👍 very remote , great video mate
Sounds like a good adventure👍it’s something I’ll have to look into. Seeing Corrour on the train on the way back, looks awesome, and the reservoir you went to looked amazing. Was great to meet you guys👍
It's been a long time since I did the Fairfield horseshoe, after watching your video will definitely do it again with a wild camp, like you, on Fairfield. Looks like a great pitch with fantastic views. Very enjoyable video there Sean, as a fairly new subscriber I'll definitely be having a watch of your previous videos 👍
Nice video and looks like you had great weather and an epic sunset and sunrise - love the mountain layers in the drone footage. I think it's called Cofa Pike, the peak between St Sunday's Cragg and Fairfield. Looks like you had a good pitch, I might have to try it out. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks pal. It’s a beautiful peaceful place the NW side of the Lake District. Most people will be attracted to Scafell’s. Ennerdale Water is so peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle of busier peaks and trails👍
Nice video mate. Totally agree with you about that person pitching up way too early. Sadly not everyone abides by the wild camping etiquette which can give the rest of us a bad name! 🤨
I don’t need a step or a horse thanks. Just pee’s me off when people have tents up in the middle of the day, leave litter and have bbq’s in the countryside. If they want this then go on a campsite. Sets a bad example and encourages the people who give true wild campers a bad name. Thanks for watching though👍
Another crackin video m8. Awesome stuff. Got the Soulo and Abisko Lite 2 i use often but that Allak looks the business. Just need 2 find the wife's purse 😂
Really cool man, my question: Did you have to ask permission to camp? I’m thinking of camping with my little daughter but need to know if it’s okay to do so without getting in trouble with land owners. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards
Hey, I don’t ask any permission but I try not to attract attention. Stick to wild camping rules respect the countryside. Google wild camping rules in England if that’s where you’re camping and enjoy it if you go. Thanks for watching👍
Don't know if anybody here has the Abisko 1 lite. It looks like it has been designed for 55cm (20") width mats. That's on both sides but it's wider in the center. Does anybody know if it would fit a 64cm (25") inflatable mat? definitely not if pushed to one of the sides but probably if positioned in the middle?
@@TheWoollybackwalker my girlfriend and I chatted to you once at bottom of Place Fell on way to Beda Fell, so we kept up with your vid blogs, I said WB hasnt uploaded for a long while, glad your making a full recovery, how did you do it??
I went with a company to do ghyll scrambling with family. I have a theory I’m not sure I can say on here. I had to have around 6 months of physio which meant no outdoors stuff. I’m hoping to try and make up for it this year and get more videos on, but weathers rubbish
Hi, that is me. Shame I couldn’t do a video on it. I had some physio for about 7 months. It’s ok now thanks for asking, but it’s not 100%. I now have a fear of jumping from heights and won’t be doing anything like that again. Although i paid a company for ghyll scrambling, you didn’t see that on tv
Stunning views! Awesome to watch the clouds when u sped up the filming. Have you tried earplugs to help with sleeping through windy nights? Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Thanks as ever for watching👍I have tried them but I don’t find them comfortable, and I worry about my tent even though I’m sure it’s more than capable of dealing with stronger winds. Roll on the summer and calmer weather☀️
Lovely viewing lovely to see you out enjoying the elements, I love that route up over Rosset Pike ! hope you didn't break any poles with the hot pot wind ! ATB Luke - Boonies and Peaks
Stunning views. That's some serious terrain. Scary though, so many places to miss an edge and slip. I'd want to tie myself to a big rock just in case a wind gust during the night.
Just found ya video's mate, by the looks of the map you showed us viewers, im near to you, could be wrong but that sound like a widnes accent. im also into this type of stuff to so its good to see someone local doing what i like too (although 14 miles is a lot more than id like to hike) good on ye fella, just subbed, good video :)
Widnes👍must be a unique accent for you to pick up on it. I go the Lake District mostly and my other videos are of there. Thanks for subbing. I’ve another video showing our local delights🤣👍
