This is the worst guitar I ever owned unfortunately. Sound is nice, plays nice but the hum this guitar makes is just horrible. You really need a good hum cancelling pedal.
I love how the $89 HB TE 20 (when played on clean) almost sounds like a piezo-acoustic guitar. Bought this one on a deal occasion for $50 😂 + now no need for an acoustic sim pedal like a BOSS AC3 (which saved me another $150)
l got me a HN TE 20 used for $50 😂 to practice (and not to be afraid to drop it, bump it etc. - I'm motionally challenged) 😂 for the price difference, I'd rather buy a better amp where the minor sound difference ain't to be heard anymore, since the most sound quality comes from the amp, not the pickups, not the strings and not the wood.
@@bestguitarsnow Thank you for this. I just worry I might destroy the amp by doing so. I will just use it for practicing acoustic and then electric guitar. I don't have the budget to buy a separate acoustic guitar amp that's why I asked.
This review would be honest if u loos the reverb. I wana review on this am Not a show on your prefered reverb with this amp. Other than that peev and a big one , good review if it wernt for bastardising it with reverb
Thanks :)! Both are great but they have different necks (C profile in TE-62 and Modern D in TE-62). So it's up to you but honestly you'll be happy with each of these
Rhythm circuit uses a different cap value, so it impacts the tone differently from just using the lead circuit. Tbh, i feel lead/rhythm labels on guitars are always the wrong way round for me.
I have a 15 year old Marshall MG10. It has a line out too.. and the little thing is serving me well till date. Can the headphone jack be used as a line out if connected with a quarter inch mono jack to the mixer or the PA system?
@@bestguitarsnow Are you sure it felt like a more expensive Fender and not something like a classic vibe? I had a classic vibe and couldn't gel with the way it felt so I got rid of it as soon as I possibly could. What made you want to get rid of it? In other words, why did you sell it off?
@@SiddharthKarunakaran it depends on what you're looking for. This Strat has a gloss finish on the neck just like the CV so it feels quite similar. Sometimes a small setup and lowering the string action can really help with feel and playability - did you try it? Also I sold it because I buy and sell a lot of gear :) plus Fender Jazzmaster is my main guitar.
I picked up the Tele same as yours for 40 pound in pawn shop a bit of set up and I have a nice fast action .I rubbed down back of neck to bare wood going to change pick ups will be a nice guitar
Awesome review! :) and like the way you explain and show the aspects of it also the butterscotch finish is really good for that price looks similar to the fender FSR butterscotch tele they had
My last addition to the gang is a Ibanez AS-53 in a tobacco finish. And I have to say that I’m impressed with this thing. It’s a bit bulkier than the other guitars but it’s fairly easy to play. The neck feels pretty good in my hands, ( I’ve got big hands) And it keeps a tune. I was gonna change strings but the stock setup seems to be doing just fine. It’s nice.🤔👁❤️🎸☘️
Hi from Spain, great video, I have the SC550ii PAF and I agree with you great guitars. I decided to use slightly heavier gauge strings 49/11's because I found that the extra tension needed gave greater tuning stability and now the tuners are fine. When I used 9's I agree with you tuning was an issue, kind regards, John
Dziękuję pana za bardzo dobry filmik. Dopiero się zastanawiam które gitarę kupić. Twój filmik mi pomógł. Przepraszam za mój zły polski język, dopiero się uczę jego.
