I know it's been awhile, since we have talked, My show WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SMOKING, is coming along nicely My biggest show was 855 views, and I've already interviewed,, Jack Carlson From the Minnesota North Stars, Now would be a good time to have you on the show, and talk about what's going on with your show and your take On the Minnesota Wild, my show is Interactive, the show starts at noon And if you could give me a segment That would be cool as shit Denny from Minnesota
They do need a legit top 6 LW (or a short contract) - however, maybe Kulich is ready. They may start with Kulich if he earns it but if he falters, you can always trade during the season. I'd use some combo of Greenway, Krebs, Joker and Clifton plus picks/mid-range prospects to get a solid defensive RD with some toughness (like an Adam Larsson).
We did have two 2nd round picks we didn't need the second when we dropped down from 11 to 14 you really only want first rounders Peterka so far is the only 2nd round gem we have right now so yeah over payment for Malystein or however it's spelt but we didn't need it but needed a player like him!
I think Adams is feeling the heat and more trades are coming since no FA's want to sign. Would love to see the Sabres give Kulich a legitimate shot this year.
I can't wait for Tocchet to blow a gasket with this guy and yeet him so fricken hard into the press box. Goals are pretty, but when you're a defensive Black Hole who shows such a stunning lack of ability to grow and improve that by 27 this guy has already had 6 teams and took weeks to get someone to throw less then 1 mill and a single year at you.... You miiight just be your own problem... and now he can be the Nuckleheads problem. Enjoy! 😂
If Savoie was such great a player, it would have been him who made the team last year and not Zach Benson! Savoie has too many question marks about him, and what Adams needs is certainty, and MacLeod gives the Sabres certainty. I am happy with the trade, but now it's up to Lindy Ruff to bring out the best of what he has been given, and I think he will do the job!
I can't stand Stephen A anyway. All he had to say is he don't know much about hockey. what I don't like about the show itself is for two hours, all they talk about is football and basketball and it's not fair to hockey fans, baseball fans, golf, tennis fans and so on. that's why I love PTI
I'm sure Anaheim is listening to offers but I doubt they initiating any. There is nothing in local Anaheim or LA news that indicates Zegras will be moved anytime soon. Unless, a team offers a boatload of prospects and draft picks, Zegras is staying with the Ducks. Laine is very skilled but has issues. Verbeek is building a future playoff powerhouse with tons of young talent. I doubt he wants to risk anything with a player that may cause significantly more problems than he solves. There is far of a chance of Zegras evolving into a high end player than Laine returning to old form and maintaining it. I hope he proves me wrong but a pass on Laine to the Ducks unless it is at a low coast that won't mortgage the teams future.
If THIS is what the lines look like next season Me Likey, Me Likey VERY Much! Hoglander - Pettersson - DeBrusk Joshua - Miller - Boeser Heinen - Suter - Garland Sprong - Blueger - Sherwood Podkolzin Huges - Deharnais Forbort - Hronek Soucy - Myers Juulsen - Friedman Demko Silovs
Looks to me like Nils Aman and Phil DiGiuseppe are out of a job and Podkolzin will be in the pressbox with Juulsen and Friedman for most of the season.
I agree like Ottawa they can score enough but team defence was bad. Need guys on each line that back check. Good Special teams are critical. With Macleod and Lafferty you are adding a lot of speed.
I can see Verbeek giving him a chance but it would have to be at a significantly reduced price compared to where he was at. To many potential issues and pitfalls with him if he isn't able to keep himself right.
Verbeek would want more. Johnson is looking good and has solid upside but his ppg so far is significantly lower than Zegras...even with the injury plagued year, last season.
Adams has a great job this off season . Sabres were WEAK on faceoffs and they were SLOW & SOFT on the bottom 6 forward group. Now the 4th line of Malenstyn Lafferty and Aube-Kubel is fast and tough. Macleod is the 2nd fastest skaters in the NHL and has a 50% faceoff win rate . Savoie got passed on the depth chart last season by Benson and Kulich. Savoie got hurt at last years prospects tournament and again at the World Juniors Championships, injury prone ?? .Speaking of the WJC , Kulich looked a lot better and had better numbers than Savoie at the WJC. You guys forgot to mention the signing of Calgary D man Denis Gilbert who brings some much needed toughness to the D corps and will probably be on the 3rd pair most nights with Connor Clifton. IMO Sabres top 6 forward group are set . Just sign and hopefully avoid arbitration with Malenstyn and UPL and the team is ready to start the year. Adams said in an intetview how he liked how Krebs could play either centre or wing so i think Krebs will most likely be the 13th forward aka spare forward to start the season. Thanks for the video, much appreciated , good analysis .
