So nobody mods the custom? I dont like the look of the steering and the odometer placement but they are cheaper than 48s just the 48 has the nicer front
Yeah . A lot of owners remove the goofy riser set up. I would not call the suspension good either. In fact i reckon the suspension is so bad it is incredibly dangerous.
Just found your video today. I’m an American. I’ve been driving a V7III Moto Guzzi for the past three years. I commute and do weekend trips with it. As it happens I’m going to test drive a Sportster 1200 custom in a few days. How different is it from a V7 mg?
You people are so nit picky, audi's are just glorified vw there's nothing special to them except a bigger price tag and honestly besides Lincolns all the luxury brands seem to be built cheaper than their non luxury counter parts

@Rocky Junior Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
As a owner of a 5GJ1 (2002) carburetted model since I bought it new in.... erm... 2002 and did also own and rode a 2002 ZX-12R these last 5 years I'm adding a few nitpicks: 1. It's supposed to be 40 hp.. :P 2. The "incognonito mode" dissappeared in 2004 due to EU rules and I love still have it. Especially if the battery is not at its best and it's cold and the ability shut all other stuff off. 3a. This thing is also for bikers used to crotch rockets with an explosive performance, just most of them do not know (have the faintest clue) what a Tmax is and/or have the wide view on bikes like me.. :P 3b. Because it is staggeringly good in the twisties and dwarfs any other big scooter in that department reducing them to lardy wallowing whales. (I have compared my Tmax to most of them and the worst was the Suzuki Hamburgermann. The Silver Wing is OK straight ahead on the highway, but that's it. Spaghetti/Chinese and German/Chinese things is not even in the consideration due to... ca. a million things regarding being really lardy, reliability etc etc. A scoot should be neat and swift! 4. I easy outride normal bikers on a normal mc in the twisties in the hills. (Sorry your NL dudes/dudettes do just have one small flat hill named "Limburg" (?) and nothing more exciting. Well, you can always do a trip to Norway.. Austria or Schwartswald in Germany will also do..:P) 5. This is an ultimate all around universal thing for commuting and convenience, still if you can ride and trust her you can scare the wits out of many a biker on it. 6. DO check that the cam chain tensioner is upgraded ASAP if you have a pre -2004. THAT IS MANDATORY unless you shit $$£ and loves a smashed up engine.
Brakballe thank you so much for the comment/ essay 😂 Yeah I agree every bit, especially at the stop lights, when I leave a Frazer or G800 wondering what hit them :) I did check the tensioner, and, luckily, it has been replaced. The ponies vary according to different sources, my papers claim 39...;)
