The 07 and up sportsters have low fuel lights and self canceling turn signals. I have a 09 1200 custom same color.

My 06 is carbureted so no low fuel light but it does have self cancelling turn signals

I have an 04 1200 sportster. It also has self cancelling turn signals. I'm not sure what year they first put it in, but 04 and up for sure has it.

@@earljacinto8784 I recently picked up a 90 softail and it's got an og version of self canceling. You gotta hold turn down when you let off that's it.

Just found your video today. I’m an American. I’ve been driving a V7III Moto Guzzi for the past three years. I commute and do weekend trips with it. As it happens I’m going to test drive a Sportster 1200 custom in a few days. How different is it from a V7 mg?

Those bars would have to come way up (shoulder height) so your back is straight while riding.

So nobody mods the custom? I dont like the look of the steering and the odometer placement but they are cheaper than 48s just the 48 has the nicer front

Yeah . A lot of owners remove the goofy riser set up. I would not call the suspension good either. In fact i reckon the suspension is so bad it is incredibly dangerous.
