She says then that what's important is that they were happy there, the "Right...?" is not from the game, tho, this was added in this trailer and I wonder what that means...
I think that if sunny and Mari were not abused sunny would’ve told the truth and his friends would have understood if he said that he truly didn’t mean to kill her
Sunny says he doesn't like his own smile. I like to think Omori's ecstatic and manic expressions are what Sunny thinks his smile looks like (ugly, forced, and frightening), when in reality (the secret good ending) its quite adorable.
if you think about it, Kel literally started the events that would lead to all friends to reunite again and his actions literally saved Omori and Basil's life
i think something people tend to get wrong a lot is that Kel's not like the others. Everyone was reduced to ruins at the death of Mari, but the purpose of Kel isn't that he didn't care at all. He didn't have a thing like Sunny where he pretended nothing ever happened, he didn't have a thing like Aubrey in which he "didn't care" about it anymore, and he didn't have his own thing where he was using his external and positive personality to hide some overarching darkness. Kel's character is built around one fundamental aspect he has that the rest of the group did not. He could cope with trauma in a healthy way.
We know a little more about SUNNY than the video says. In "headspace", the characters' abilities are just fantasy expressions of their personalities and hobbies. But in OMORI, they are real methods of psychological violence: mock, shun, trick, staring, exploit, etc. . The weapons of the other children are toys or kitchen tools for HIRO. For OMORI, it is a knife. Well, and OMORI's expression on his face when happy is clearly not normal My guess in the past SUNNY was cruel and sadistic
(Yes, I actually did this) Since I wanted to know so badly, I opened up procreate with the us map, looked at all 397 comments and counted the states on the comments into the map, it turns out, the real answer is New York with 18 votes. My possible theory is that they might take place somewhere at Great Lakes area of New York, (east of the state) because of it snowing often in winter and school starting in September. Being specific as possible, I bet its in the suburbs of NYC. For one, sub sandwiches are referred to as heroes, and the group lives somewhere where the coast is easily accessible. Since metro NYC spans across multiple states, Faraway could either be in NY state, Connecticut, or New Jersey, more likely CT or NJ as the coastal part of NYC is very urban, but there's also a chance it could be set on Long Island.
