i saw a theory somewhere that maybe sunny inadvertently killed mewo by not taking care of her sometime after the accident due to his depression. this would make sense because with his mom not being home a lot the responsibility of taking care of her most likely fell on sunny, who has trouble doing even basic tasks due to his depression and trauma. this could explain the punishment room, because he would feel guilty about unintentionally killing her, which would then manifest in a more direct way in black space.
Black Space are intrussive thoughts based on the 'idea' that is stated to be 'repressed' by the black lightbulb. The 'idea' implanted by Basil during the bw cutscenes depicting their last conversation. In essence, Basil unintentionally caused Sunny to develop a Pseudomemory, it's content being 'the truth'. Wanna know more about this...? There's pretty deep rabbit-hole to explore... 😏
im a SUNNY introject in a system, and i can speak on why the things that happened to BASIL in BLACK SPACE, happened: i was angry BASIL (aka STRANGER, in this case - someome who i/OMORI did not create, but who created itself) was trying to show me the truth. so, i killed BASIL. i was angry, very angry and did not want to accept it
This has nothing to do with the video I just wanted to see if anyone agreed. This is a very unpopular opinion, and I'm probably going to get slammed in the replies, but I genuinely thing that Kel hurt the most. His love for Mari, and for his friends . . . I mean, he lost Mari, to start off, that already did something. But then everybody drifted apart, and Hero just . . . stopped. And as we know, Kel wants everyone around him to be happy, so there's another thing. His parents even ignored him! But he had to be there for people. He had to be the light when everyone else saw dark. Does anyone else agree or is it just me??
@@bradleyfuentes8957 Yeah, I honestly don't think a lot of people agree, because well, Sunny, but like, Kel hurt a ton. And then on top he had to cover it up. So, like, I think y'know, he hurt the most.
I don’t think he hurt the most, but he is def the most misunderstood by both the fandom and the actual characters in Omori imo. People still think Kel is completely fine and not absolutely wrecked by Mari’s death+watching all of his closest friends drift away/suffer. But I’m glad he is getting more attention about his issues
