Much is made about the projects in LA! Chicago! NYC! Detroit! Baltimore! and Philly! (Rightfully so!) But I'm telling you! Them Newark projects was on the same exact level! We used to go over there back in the days from the BX! And spots like Seth and that other one behind it on the South Side (Cant remember its name!) Hayes, Crazyville, Prince St and little bricks in the central ward! And Columbus, Baxter and Harrison up north! Wasnt nothing to play with! Had to have your head on a swivel and know somebody up in those joints! Just like back home! Its completely different over there now since they tore down all the projects! Young people over there dont even know the ferocious spots they walk over and past every day!
