@@bjr0467 @br0467 the difference between a rule 35 and a 5k.1 is a 5k.1 is when you get a agreement to get time cut before your sentencing for example if a man is facing a mandatory 10 years in the feds and he cooperates and get a 5k.1 deal for a sentencing below the statutory minimum of 10 years before sentencing. A rule 35 is a time reduction after you already been sentenced for example if a person gets sentenced to 20 years in prison and he contacts the prosecutors office pr they contact him about some info, and he provides substantial cooperation in a new case etc. Then he might get his time cut from the 20 he already received
